Big City Greens Wiki

The Whistler family consists of three people: Chip Whistler, Mr. Whistler and Mrs. Whistler. They are known for owning the supermarket chain Wholesome Foods, which is infamous due to its feud with Cricket Green and his family and farm.

History[]

Prior events[]

During his childhood, Chip's mom died[1].

Encountering the Greens[]

In the present day, Mr. Whistler runs a company named Wholesome Foods, with Chip Whistler as its manager.

While visiting the Farmer's Market, Chip Whistler encounters the Green family setting up their Green Family Farms stand. Chip and Cricket Green agrees to share produce so they may be sold in Wholesome Foods stores around Big City, but Cricket has no produce. With a new batch of fake produce he and Tilly made as a stop-gap, Chip ships them to Wholesome Foods stores, only for Cricket to take them back due to guilt.

Later on, back at the Farmer's Market, Chip encounters the Greens once again, and bites into one of the fake produce, chipping his tooth. This makes him swear vengeance against the Greens. ("Supermarket Scandal")

Some time later, Chip meets the Greens once again at the Farmer's Market. Seeing as Chip wants to one-up the Greens, he and Cricket get into a feud over customer loyalty, which eventually erupts into an all-out tomato fight. Chip and Wholesome Foods' opinions with the public detoriated when Chip decides to pelt a surrendering Cricket with tomatoes. ("Feud Fight")

Chip meets Cricket and Gloria Sato during a quest to take the last bag of coffee beans; Chip's mission would fail. ("Coffee Quest")

Mr. Whistler steps down[]

With the infamous video of Chip pelting Cricket going viral, and the attempted demolishing of the Greens' house, Mr. Whistler threatens him with being fired from his job. As Mr. Whistler is going to retire and needs a new CEO, Chip decides to take up his father's Forgiveness Contract. Chip decides to do good deeds for the Greens, only to pass out due to momentarily losing it.

He is tended to by the Greens; seeing their good nature, Chip decides to admit he was wrong about them, though he decides to exploit their naiveity to usurp Mr. Whistler as the new CEO of Wholesome Foods. With him out of the picture, Chip decides to ramp up his vendetta, putting it over CEO duties. ("Reckoning Ball")

With Mr. Whistler out of the way, Chip enters Wholesome Foods to the Farm Con convention, where he plans to sabotage a speech Bill Green intends to make, but he is thwarted as usual. ("Friend Con")

Rise to infamy[]

Having had enough of these defeats, Chip ramps up his plans to drive Big Coffee out of business (literally, as he has ordered a brutal-looking Wholesome Coffee truck), but this initial try fails; however, with the help of his dad's advice, twisted and turned with his thoughts, he begins to plan his expansion and start a new stage in the Wholesome saga, firing Greg and Rose and replacing them with a wholesome squad of goons and purchasing Big Coffee so the previous owner is sent out of the picture. With Big Coffee in his hands, Chip closes it down and fires everyone. ("Chipwrecked")

With Big Coffee and the Elkins Apartment gone and dusted, Chip builds the Wholesome Foods Mega-Store in their place, with the Greens' house left as the final piece that needed to be destroyed.
