This vivid and bright summer dress was highly inspired by the portrait of Mary Hawkworth Riddell and her daughter Agnes (1791) made by Charles Peale Polk. This gown associates with French Queen Marie Antoinette who wears it on the famous portrait exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1783. It is a perfect choice for informal late 18th century summer events. Made of cheer lightweight cotton it is 100% breathable. The gowns the front opening which is closed on ties (the upper one is for the neckline gathering, the second one is under the bust and the third one is on the waist). The costume consists of the gown, a petticoat and a blue belt. The dress is made to measure.
