Handmade with love, this necklace is wearable art .I use 100% recycled paper to carefully make the design. The pendants are sealed multiple times with an eco friendly sealant to protect from the elements. The chain and findings are nickel free bronze so they are safe to wear on sensitive skin. This necklace measure approximately 16 inches long.Because it is made with paper it is extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear every day. Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is rolled, looped, curled, twisted and otherwise manipulated to create shapes which make up designs. Quilling starts with rolling a strip of paper into a coil and then pinching the coil into shapes that can be glued together. Necklace is water resistant but I can't guarantee that they are 100% waterproof so please remove before bathing or swimming.
