Balenciaga's 'Cocoon Kick' jacket is made from smooth black leather that's crinkled in places for a vintage appearance – the brand has a department dedicated to giving its pieces an aged look. It's lightly padded for both warmth and to enhance its oversized shape.

Modelled after traditional racing styles, Balenciaga’s oversized jacket has been made in Italy from panels of structured leather in a variety of textures. It’s lightly scuffed and has a frayed satin lining that hangs below the hem.

Balenciaga's jacket is embroidered with its 'Sporty B' logo, which riffs on late '90s sportswear. Made in Italy from soft black leather, it has a covered placket and pockets on each side to slot your hands into. The oversized fit is a signature and emphasised by the dropped shoulders and ribbed trims.

Balenciaga's AW23 collection showcased Demna's tailoring skills – the runway was filled with oversized suiting and deconstructed shapes. This knitted houndstooth blazer has a single-breasted front with wide, notch lapels, which balance out its boxy proportions.
