How can you ensure that feedback leads to long-term behavior change for executives?
Feedback, when provided as a continuous dialogue, enables executives to focus on forward-looking goals and potential rather than dwelling on past errors. It encourages a coaching approach that empowers executives to self-reflect and articulate their aspirations and strategies for success, fostering a sense of ownership and motivation. Ultimately, this approach fosters a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, steering away from a one-time critique-based model towards a sustainable framework for enhancing an executive's leadership capabilities.

How can you ensure that feedback leads to long-term behavior change for executives?
Follow a structured process starting with building a trusting and collaborative relationship with the executive. Feedback should be specific, actionable, and tied to observable behaviors, rather than vague criticism. Encourage self-reflection and introspection, so the executive takes ownership of their development. Create a customized development plan with clear goals and milestones, and provide ongoing support and accountability. I use coaching techniques that focus on self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and adaptive leadership skills. Measure progress and celebrate successes to reinforce the change process. Sustainable transformation occurs when feedback is integrated into a comprehensive and supportive coaching framework.
