But the question of the quantum randomness emergency in the de Broglie-Bohm theory needs special attention. In the work [G. Tastevin, F. Laloë, Comptes Rendus. In quantum mechanics, randomness is postulated as a separate axiom. De Broglie's theory allows one to reproduce quantum phenomena from completely deterministic formalism. But the question of the quantum randomness emergency in the de Broglie-Bohm theory needs special attention. In the work [G. Tastevin, F. Laloë, Comptes Rendus. Physique, 2021, 22, 1, pp. 99-116], it was shown that it arises as a result of the device microscopic state influence on the measurement result. In our work, we investigate the genesis of the quantum randomness in the de Broglie's theory in more details. Namely, we investigate the target system and the device behaviour in the decoherence process and model the measurement of canonical-conjugate observables. We propose a thought experiment which tests the opportunity of the information transition using beable-parameters violating the uncertainty relation. We show that in the measurement process, the strong stochastic fluctuations of beable parameters arise randomising the system in accordance with the uncertainty relation. Nevertheless, we find anomalous models of measurement in which these fluctuations can be neglected. These special models require further investigation.

The advent of X-ray free-electron lasers (XFELs) has revolutionized fundamental science, from atomic to condensed matter physics, from chemistry to biology, giving researchers access to X-rays with unprecedented brightness, coherence, and pulse duration. All XFEL facilities built until recently provided X-ray pulses at a relatively low repetition rate, with limited data statistics. Here, we present the results from the first megahertz repetition rate X-ray scattering experiments at the Spectroscopy and Coherent Scattering (SCS) instrument of the European XFEL. We illustrate the experimental capabilities that the SCS instrument offers, resulting from the operation at MHz repetition rates and the availability of the novel DSSC 2D imaging detector. Time-resolved magnetic X-ray scattering and holographic imaging experiments in solid state samples were chosen as representative, providing an ideal test-bed for operation at megahertz rates. Our results are relevant and applicable to any other non-destructive XFEL experiments in the soft X-ray range.

The importance of automatic estimation of MLS was recently highlighted by ACR Data Science Institute. In this paper we introduce a novel deep learning based approach for the problem of MLS detection, which exploits task-specific structural knowledge. We evaluate our method on a large dataset containing heterogeneous images with significant MLS and show that its mean error approaches the inter-expert variability. Finally, we show the robustness of our approach by validating it on an external dataset, acquired during routine clinical practice.

We consider the heat kernel for higher-derivative and nonlocal operators in $d$-dimensional Euclidean space-time and its asymptotic behavior. As a building block for operators of such type, we consider the heat kernel of the minimal operator - generic power of the Laplacian - and show that it is given by the expression essentially different from the conventional exponential Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) ansatz. Rather it is represented by the generalized exponential function (GEF) directly related to what is known in mathematics as the Fox-Wright $\varPsi$-functions and Fox $H$-functions. The structure of its essential singularity in the proper time parameter is different from that of the usual exponential ansatz, which invalidated previous attempts to directly generalize the Schwinger-DeWitt heat kernel technique to higher-derivative operators. In particular, contrary to the conventional exponential decay of the heat kernel in space, we show the oscillatory behavior of GEF for higher-derivative operators. We give several integral representations for the generalized exponential function, find its asymptotics and semiclassical expansion, which turns out to be essentially different for local operators and nonlocal operators of noninteger order. Finally, we briefly discuss further applications of the GEF technique to generic higher-derivative and pseudodifferential operators in curved space-time, which might be critically important for applications of Horava-Lifshitz and other UV renormalizable quantum gravity models.

We consider heat kernel for higher-order operators with constant coefficients in $d$-dimensio\-nal Euclidean space and its asymptotic behavior. For arbitrary operators which are invariant with respect to $O(d)$-rotations we obtain exact analytical expressions for the heat kernel and Green functions in the form of infinite series in Fox--Wright psi functions and Fox $H$-functions. We investigate integro-differential relations and the asymptotic behavior of the functions $ \mathcal{E}_{ν, α}(z)$, in terms of which the heat kernel of $O(d)$-invariant operators are expressed. It is shown that the obtained expressions are well defined for non-integer values of space dimension $d$, as well as for operators of non-integer order. Possible applications of the obtained results in quantum field theory and the connection with fractional calculus are discussed.

The role of the measurement process in resolving the gauge ambiguity of the effective gravitational potential is reexamined. The motion of a classical point-like particle in the field of an arbitrary linear source, and in the field of another point-like particle is investigated. It is shown that in both cases the value of the gravitational field read off from the one-loop effective action of the testing particle depends on the Feynman weighting parameter. The found dependence is essential in that it persists in the expression for the gravitational potential. This result disproves the general conjecture about gauge independence of the effective equations of motion of classical point-like particles.

The problem of gauge independent definition of effective gravitational field is considered from the point of view of the process of measurement. Under assumption that dynamics of the measuring apparatus can be described by the ordinary classical action, effective Slavnov identities for the generating functionals of Green functions corresponding to a system of arbitrary gravitational field measured by means of scalar particles are obtained. With the help of these identities, the total gauge dependence of the non-local part of the one-loop effective apparatus action, describing the long-range quantum corrections, is calculated. The value of effective gravitational field inferred from the effective apparatus action is found to be gauge-dependent. A probable explanation of this result, referring to a peculiarity of the gravitational interaction, is given.

As an example, the one-loop counterterms are calculated in the tetrad formalism in the theory with terms quadratic in the torsion field. It is shown that the special gauge can be chosen so that the corresponding additional ghosts do not contribute to the one-loop divergent terms.
