Drell-Yan hadron tensor: contour gauge and gluon propagator
Abstract: We consider the gauge invariant Drell-Yan hadron tensor which includes the standard and non-standard diagram contributions. The non-standard diagram contribution is appeared owing to the complexity of the twist three $B^V(x_1,x_2)$-function where the gluon pole manifests. We use the contour gauge conception which allows us to fix easily the spurious uncertainties in the gluon propagator. The conto… ▽ More

Gauge-Invariant Gluon TMD and Evolution in the Coordinate Space
Abstract: Maximally path-dependent gauge-invariant operator definition of the gluon transverse-momentum dependent pdf (gTMD) is discussed. It is argued that the evolution equations for the gTMD in the coordinate representation can be derived from the equations of motion in the generalised loop space, whose elements are the hadronic averages of the Wilson loops of entirely arbitrary shape.

Generalized Loop Space and Evolution of the Light-Like Wilson Loops
Abstract: Equations of motion for the light-like QCD Wilson loops are studied in the generalized loop space (GLS) setting. To this end, the classically conformal-invariant non-local variations of the cusped Wilson exponentials lying (partially) on the light-cone are formulated in terms of the Fréchet derivative. Abstract: The renormalization properties of unintegrated (transverse-momentum dependent) parton distribution functions (TMD PDF's) are used for analyzing their completely gauge-invariant definition. To this end, the UV anomalous dimension is calculated at the one-loop order in the light-cone gauge and a consistent treatment of the extra singularities, which produce undesirable contributions in the anomalo… ▽ More

Anomalous dimensions of transverse-momentum dependent parton distribution functions
Abstract: We discuss recent developments in the understanding of gauge-invariant transverse-momentum dependent (TMD) parton-distribution functions (PDF). We compute the leading-order $\overline{\text{MS}\vphantom{^1}}$-scheme anomalous dimension of such a quantity in the light-cone gauge and show that it receives a contribution that can be associated with a cusp obstruction at transverse light-cone infini… ▽ More

Duality between different mechanisms of QCD factorization in γ^*γcollisions
Abstract: We study the phenomenon of duality in hard exclusive reactions to which QCD factorization applies. Considering "two-photon"-like processes in the scalar $φ^3_E$ model and also hadron-pair production from the collisions of a real (transversely polarized) and a highly virtual, longitudinally polarized, photon in QCD, we identify two regimes of factorization each of them associated with a distinct… ▽ More

Wilson lines and transverse-momentum dependent parton distribution functions: A renormalization-group analysis
Abstract: The renormalization-group properties of gauge-invariant transverse-momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions (PDF) in QCD are addressed. We perform an analysis of their leading-order anomalous dimensions, which are local quantities, making use of the renormalization properties of contour-dependent composite operators in QCD. We argue that attaching individual gauge links with transv… ▽ More

Gauge invariance and renormalization-group effects in transverse-momentum dependent parton distribution functions
Abstract: A range of issues pertaining to the use of Wilson lines in integrated and transverse-momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions (PDF) is discussed. The relation between gauge invariance and the renormalization properties of the Wilson-line integrals is given particular attention. Using an anomalous-dimensions based analysis in the light-cone gauge, a generalized definition of the TMD… ▽ More

Renormalization, Wilson lines, and transverse-momentum dependent parton distribution functions
Abstract: We perform an analysis of transverse-momentum dependent parton distribution functions, making use of their renormalization properties in terms of their leading-order anomalous dimensions. We show that the appropriate Wilson line in the light-cone gauge, associated with such quantities, is a cusped one. To cancel the ensuing cusp anomalous dimension, we include in the definition of the transverse… ▽ More

Instanton contribution to the Sivers function
Abstract: We study the Sivers function for valence u and d quarks in the proton within the instanton model for QCD vacuum, adopting the MIT bag model wave functions for quarks. Within approaches based on perturbative one-gluon final state interactions a non-zero value of the Sivers function is related to the presence of both S and P wave components in quark wave functions. We show that the instanton-induc… ▽ More

QCD instantons in high energy diffractive scattering: Instanton model of Pomeron
Abstract: The role of the QCD vacuum effects in high energy diffractive quark-quark and quark-antiquark scattering is studied with the Instanton Liquid Model. The special attention is given to the problem of formation of the soft Pomeron. We show that in the leading approximation in instanton density the $C-$odd instanton contribution to the diffractive amplitude is suppressed as $1/s$ compared to the… ▽ More

Study of instanton effects in electromagnetic quark form factor at high energy
Abstract: The detailed analysis of nonperturbative contributions to the electromagnetic quark form factor is performed within the framework of the instanton liquid model (ILM) of the QCD vacuum. The method of the path-ordered Wilson exponentials is applied to evaluate explicitly the instanton corrections. By using the Gaussian interpolation of the constrained instanton solution, it is shown that the insta… ▽ More

Double-logarithmic behavior of inelastic fermion form factors in QED and QCD
Abstract: The effective kinematic diagram technique is applied to study inelastic form factors of electron and quark in QED and QCD. The explicit expressions for these form factors in the double-logarithmic approximation are presented. The self-consistency of the results is shown by demonstrating the fulfillment of the Kinoshita-Lee-Nauenberg theorem.
