Red Skull (2010 Marvel Animated Universe)

Red Skull or known as Iron Skull or Cosmic Skull is the main antagonist of the Avengers Assemble.

History[]

Biography[]

Johann Schmidt was the leader of Hydra, a Nazi terrorist group, and he was fed by an unstable early version of the Super Soldier Serum and adopted the identify of Red Skull, since he was become the main enemy of Captain America and its heroes, to try global domination.

The Avengers Protocol, Part 1[]

Dying from the Super-Soldier Serum, Red Skull then asked MODOK to switch his mind to Captain America's, so that he could retain his powers, as the serum succesfully joined this body without him kill. Red Skull had a bunch of Hydra minions to attack Captain America and he managed to arrest and transport him, but unfortunately he was attacked by Iron Man, who initially though he witnessed the death of Captain America. And he reassembled the Avengers and succesfully attacked Hydra's base. Red Skull managed to get into Captain America's body but the process was reversed, only for MODOK to rip Iron Man's armor and Tony Stark's Arc Reactor, who thereafter called himself Iron Skull. And the two villains are forced to retreat leaving Stark to die.

The Avengers Protocol. Part 2[]

In order to realize the dream of world domination and win once and for all the Avengers, Iron Skull wanted to defeat the members one by one. He infiltrated the Avengers Mansion and simply infected them, making them fight each other. However Stark managed to nullify the actions of the microbes causing Red Skull to withdraw. Annoyed by his failure, he then decided to recruit other Avengers enemies such as Doctor Doom, Dracula and Attuma, but only Dracula and Attuma joins Cabala, and subsequently he would recruit Hyperion to join Cabal.

Betrayal[]

After having the Cosmic Cube in his hands, Red Skull then plans to take over the world, and eventually cheating on Cabal and being humiliated by the Avengers, he became the Cosmic Skull for a while, but MODOK along with the rest of Cabal and the Avengers, was separated from the Cosmic Cube and was thrown to another dimension where he met his real boss, Thanos.

Escape of Thanos[]

Red Skull betrayed Thanos and managed to escape to Earth, and he was followed by Thanos droids and crashed in Brazil. The Avengers investigated the scene and found the Red Skull unbalanced with Infinity Stone, which he had stolen before Mad Titan, he was then arrested by the Avengers for some response but Red Skull only says that He would be resurrected. The Avengers raided the Red Skull cell to locate the Infinity Stone, and the arrival of one of the Infinity Stone causes temporal anomalies such as the arrival of dinosaurs and futures robots from World War II Hydra and battles that wreak havoc on Manhatan. Red Skull then can escaped and tried to catch Time Stone that had been attached to Tony Stark's Arc Reactor which made him become a child. Then Red Skull got hold of the boy Tony Stark, took Time Stone and reverted his mind to the normal state, Captain America arrived and fought Red Skull to save Tony, then Tony attacked the Red Skull that blew him out of the tower, Red Skull was later caught by a pteradactics and defeated.

Red Skull is one of the cruelest villains in the series along with Thanos, Hyperion, Nighthawk, Dormammu and Ultron both are Pure Evil.
