I’ve been looking forward to Jonah & Linnea’s book for ages!!
As ever, Erin did not disappoint.

Jonah has been a steady, reliable guard and friend to Torin for years and I’m glad he finally got his happy! 🥰

Reading Reluctantly Royal I wasn’t quite sure how things were gonna go between our MCs and while there is definite crossover between books 1 & 2, this story stayed with our couple for the most part. Must admit, I’m now very intrigued about who the big boss is and who each of the bodyguards is gonna end up with….. 🤔🤔🤔

I felt Jonah’s vexation when it came to how he felt about Linnea and what he should do. He cared so much for her but given all she’d been through, the uncertainty around her future and how things stood with regards to Torin I understood why he didn’t want to hold her back and wanted her to see if there was something or someone else out there for her, even if it destroyed him in the process.

Linnea’s character for her part just grew and blossomed. Once she knew what she wanted there was no stopping her. I really like how she helped and encouraged Torin when it came to proving himself to his grandfather but I just loved how she was once she knew how she felt about Jonah. How she teased him and drove him to distraction was fun! I especially enjoyed when she finally decided to stand up for herself!! IYKYK…. 😉😉😉

The relationship Jonah has with the other bodyguards showed why they felt like family.
I’m really intrigued now about Linnea’s sister Astrid and her friend/PT - I think there could definitely be more going on there and I hope we find out in a future book.

All in all, Reluctantly Rogue was another fun instalment in the ‘Royals Gone Rogue’ series and after some little teases at the end of the book I’m now (im)patiently waiting for Cian’s book and more about his mystery woman!!!! 😁😁😁

Reluctantly Rogue is the 2nd book in the Royals Gone Rogue series. It follows Jonah Greene, bodyguard to the future King of Cara, and Linnea Olsen, the woman due to be the future Queen. The story takes place both before and after the events of Reluctantly Royal.

I loved this story! It didn't quite hit home as hard on the big issues as the first in the series, but still really enjoyed it. It was fascinating to see some situations portrayed in Reluctantly Royal from different perspectives, and great to catch up with all the characters again! The overlapping timelines with Torin's book had me a bit confused but when it all aligned it was great.

I Loved the relationship between Jonah and Linnea, but it took a little bit too long to get going for me. Specifically, it took too long for Linnea to let go the idea she was going to be queen. Although this was actually a selfless determination to help her country, I found it overly stubborn at first!

I thought it was a nice commentary on women not having their say in their own lives, especially within these sorts of circles!

Jonah was hot and dirty, I loved it! When he finally gave in to his feelings you knew it was because he had to, despite everything else he knew.

The narration was really good in Duet style from Jason Clarke and Melissa Moran. Jason was fab as always, with a good range of Irish, American and British accents. I've not listened to many by Moran but enjoyed it this one. I wasn't sure why Linnea doesn't have an Irish accent though? That's not on the performance of course, that's a director decision and it confused me a bit as she's "Cara born and bred".

Overall, another great listen! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is one of those books that you want to race through yet savour at the same time. Big, bad bodyguard Jonah and regal, classy Linnea combust to form big, sweet Jonah and sassy, sexy Linnea. It’s hot, it’s sweet and it will make you realise that we could all do with a Jonah in our lives, noticing what we like and need and doing their best to look after us.

Reluctantly Rogue is the second book in the Royals gone Rogue series with Duet narration by Jason Clarke and Melissa Moran

I was so excited to get a ALC of this book because book one in this series is amongst my top listens this year,  and I couldn’t wait to listen to how Linnea and Jonah first met and fell in love.

I really enjoyed this book, it started out a little slow for me but quickly picked up the pace and got me hooked. I loved getting to know the characters better. Linnea especially because she grew so much throughout the story. She’s a very intelligent, compassionate, woman who truly cares about her country and people in general and wants to be in a position of power in order to make a difference in the world. The problem is those ambitions was always linked to getting married to the future king and holding the title of queen because that was the life other people chose for her and she never considered her own happiness beyond that. She really grew stronger throughout this book in terms of choosing her own path and realizing she doesn’t need a title to be heard. I also loved her friendship with Jonah they had a mutual respect and trust in one another. Of course they were also extremely attracted to one another and the chemistry between the pair was off the charts. Jonah really adored Linnea in every way and just wanted her to be happy with her choices. They were a beautiful match and so so smoking hot together.

Jason and Melissa really kicked this book up to another level with the narration. They delivered the right tone and balance to really make you feel connect with these characters and captivate the listener. Wonderful casting choices for this book.

This is a book that ticks all the right boxes in romance. I really enjoyed listening and cannot wait for the next book.

I’m so incredibly hooked on Jonah Greene. He’s the bodyguard and friend to the crown prince of Cara, Torin O’Grady (who we read about in Reluctantly Royal). Jonah is alpha, protective, and the embodiment of every book boyfriend I’ve ever had. Lennea, who has been promised to the future king of Cara since she was a child has no intention of looking elsewhere for love, but she can’t get Jonah off her mind. She’s sassy, intelligent, and not afraid to speak her mind. I want to be her when I grow up.

I love this Royals Gone Rogue series by Erin Nicolle! This first-person POV, emotion-packed, and steamy side of Erin Nicholas is my cup of tea. I felt completely immersed in the story. Erin writes stories that include laughter, love, lots of big-found family feels, and plenty of wonderful steam. And the mouth on Jonah is delightful as it is naughty! This book can be read as a stand-alone, but trust me, you’ll want to read Torin’s story too. I highly recommend this book and the Royals Gone Rogue series.

Love. Love. Love.

We kind of know Jonah and Linnea's story from Reluctantly Royal but buckle up because getting the full background on these two is STEAMY.

Forbidden love, first kisses, and badly made cookies are all part of what makes this story so unique, so fun and so spicy! And I loved seeing Torin and Abi fall in love all over again from a new perspective. I absolutely adore this series and I can't wait for more of the royal family to find their HEA!!

I loved Jonah and Linnea both. I can't say my exact reasons for Linnea as that would be spoilers but she has had a tough time all her life. But she is a great royal! And Jonah. Man, did I feel for him. On top of all this, the book is a smexy, fun, poignant story. And the King makes me crazy...

Linnea and Jonah
Narrated by: Jason Clarke & Melissa Moran

Jonah is the bodyguard and bestfriend to Torin who is a Prince and engage to Linnea but he doesnt have romantic feelings and Jonah has an attration toward her.

Linnea has been raised and train to be a Queen because of linnea and Torin grandfather bet but its more than that as you will find out when you read the book. Linnea has feelings for Jonah she a Vířğín so everyone has been controlling her life since she was little and Torin wants her to fall in love and he come up with a plan. she going to date to fall in love.

Jonah isnt really happy about it, and he has to tag along the date until both realize they want to be together but they have to keep it a secret until Torin look for the woman he love and marry her and for his grandfather to love as well. there a lot of back and forth to book one which I didnt like but I understand why she has to to bring it up.

in the end Torin grandfathef wanted Linnea to marry in the family but she had enough and blur out she in love with Jonah so it open for Book 3 which Im excited for.
