City in the state of Texas in the United States.

According to the 2000 census, San Antonio is the 9th largest city in the United States and the third largest in Texas.

Large Hispanic population. Henry Cisneros, mayor in 1981--1989 was the first hispanic mayor of a major U.S. city, and later went on to server as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under Bill Clinton.

A popular tourist destination, downtown San Antionio features a river walk with numerous bars and restaurants. Other spots of interest include the Spanish missions and HemisFair tower.
