I am a geologist working primarily in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. I live in Alberta on the Paskapoo Formation where it grades into the Porcupine Hills Formation (well, technically on 3-4m of Holocene fluvial silt that overlie that formation).

I am interested in all aspects of geology and natural history, and I study paleobotany and Paleocene plant fossils in my spare time. My primary objective in editing Wikipedia is to expand and improve descriptions of the geological formations in my area, but I occasionally stray into other topics.
