Basi is a Sugar Cane wine from the nation state of Guyana ([gaɪ'a.na]; occasionally
Anglicized as [gaɪ'æ.nə]), officially the Co-operative Republic of Guyana

== Process == 


The Sugar Cane is first peeled and cut into small pieces
All ingredients are places into a container for a minimum of nine days
To finish the wine is strained and bottled
