    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting a refund of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    news reporting

    hi. there is a big problem in wikipedia. some users think journalism is same as news reporting so they want to delete article of news reporting. but that is not true. news reporting is a subfield of journalism. not all of it. other subfields of journalism like music journalism has specific article. so why the most important subfield of journalism which is news reporting, should be deleted? i proved this by sources in my article.     news media is not job. news reporting is a very important job. i want to create an article for this. jobs like correspondent which are subfields of journalism have specific article. please let news reporting to have a specific article. it is a subfield of journalism. why other subfields of journalism has article but it does not have any?     Greenside Primary School (Limpopo)

    Schools are not inherently notable. This means they do not automatically qualify for having an article. They must meet the requirements in WP:NSCHOOL, which is essentially WP:GNG.     @Yossal2: Not done – this page was deleted as a blatant advertisement under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia is not to be used as a vehicle for promotion. This does not necessarily mean a suitable article on this topic cannot be created. If it is a notable topic, e.g., multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject have written about it in substantive detail (not just mere mentions), then a neutrally written article may be possible.     @B4x usborne: Declined pending further information. This was undeleted over six months ago with a pledge that it would be worked on, but no edits were made to improve the entry for resubmission. Draft space is not an indefinite hosting service for material found to be unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia's article mainspace. We may be willing to restore it again, but only if you provide a definite assurance that you actually intend to work on it and provide a short description of what you intend to do to improve it to meet our policies and guidelines.
