Viriatos, named after the Lusitanian leader Viriathus, were Portuguese volunteers siding with the Nationalists during Spanish Civil War^[1] and incorporated into the Viriato Legion.

According to Beevor,^[2] 12,000 Portuguese participated. There were also three groups of Portuguese aviators.^[1]
