PKP Przewozy Regionalne is a company of PKP Group responsible for regional passenger transport. It is a bigger rail transport operator in Poland. Every day it runs approx. 3000 regional trains and over 300 long distanced trains. in 2002 it achieved a result of 215.000.000 passengers.
The company was founded after dividing Polskie Koleje Państwowe (all-national rail operator) into several dozens companies to meet European Union Standards.
