St Peters have a friendly rivalry with [[St. Joseph's RFC]], another Cardiff team with a strong Catholic heritage. Matches between the two have been described as playing for "The Vatican bragging rights" by BBC sports commentators.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Steele |first1=Phil |url=https://twitter.com/philsteele1/status/1423228300890099715 |website=Twitter |access-date=5 August 2021}}</ref> |
