Since I am an Aussie, a few things may be worth noting:

  • Footy, or football, goes out Inigo-style, absolutely and unequivocally.
  • My spelling (on talk pages at least) is Anglicised, not Americanized... or perhaps make that ‘strinised’. More seriously though, Australian English is a good way to go.
  • I prefer dates as date month, year.
  • I don't drink beer every day, every hour on the hour; however, I do enjoy a couple of cold ones every now-and-then. It's always beer O'Clock somewhere.
  • Yes, I am an extremely huge fan of Steve Irwin but please, please, his legacy doesn't mean that the life of every Australian revolves around him. If the Fact that he died in September 2006 is the only thing you know about him or my country then do your own homework first before going any further.
