==History==
==History==
Established 1995 in Geneva, the IFGP (Institut de Formation en Gestion du Patrimoine) marks the origin of Geneva Business School (GBS). Today IFGP is owned by GBS and continues to provide instruction to local Swiss private bankers.<ref>[https://www.ge.ch/sep/rs_fiche.asp?idEcole=304 Establishment document of IFGP]</ref>

In 2001, the University of Finance was created to provide education in international banking and finance. Over time, other institutions merged into the school. The University of Business & Finance Switzerland (UBFS) of Wettingen transferred its programs into the school in 2009. Around the same time the programs of Business & Management University (BMU) were also transferred into the school. In 2010, the name Business & Management University was replaced by the name Geneva Business School (GBS).

Since 2012, GBS has opened campuses in Spain (Barcelona), Kazakhstan (Astana), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and China (Chengdu).
