EXUVIA is a coming-of-age drama that explores the depths of existential sorrow. It's difficult to let go of the darker memories; shed the old and ugly skin of our past so that we might move forward. This struggle is shared one summer by the insightful, brilliant, but socially-challenged and bullied, 10-year old Hunter Clarke (Rémi-Gaël Panon) and his nanny, the dangerously unpredictable Melina Shadrova (Katherine Alpen), who struggles to deal with a childhood lost within the years of caring for and repeatedly rescuing her heroin-addicted mother. As their relationship develops beyond nanny and child, each of them begins to understand that defining the future means first dealing with the past. Also starring are Amanda Burke (The X-Files, Riverdale, Cadence), Kurt Max Runte (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Humanity Bureau, Little Pink House), Morgan Brayton (Overboard, Big Fat Liar 2, OUTtv's Morgan Brayton... and Other People) and June B. Wilde (The Exorcist series, Killer Ending, Dead Shack).
