Different couples are shown to be in a sexual relationship and lying in the same bed, but everything below their shoulders is covered by a blanket. No sex or nudity is shown on screen.
A woman says that she had been raped years before the events of the series takes place.
No Nudity!
The "no nudity" comments are not completely accurate. In episode 1, a couple is under the sheets, apparently naked, talking. Initially, little is shown, though there are brief shots showing a lot of upper-breast of the female. Then briefly one of her nipples is seen. On American broadcast TV (PBS), you can tell that it it is blurred-out, though presumably it is not blurred where less-strict rules are in place.

Words like F*** and bollocks are said many times, and several slurs aimed at the mentally ill are said to and about soldiers with ptsd.
I watched this on PBS and they cut the F-WORDS and lots of other profanities. I saw an episode on DVD and was surprised, sadly, about the profanities.
