Violence includes intimidating, forceful hazing and trashing of rooms. A woman resists unwanted groping. A trucker intimidates another man through physical contact. Justine, a vegetarian, submits to coercion and eats a raw rabbit kidney, but this is not depicted in a gross manner. One character presses a ski pole to another's head, considering killing her.

Human gore includes the severing of a finger, showing the wound and oozing blood. More than one person bites others on various body parts, producing blood and leaving scars, sometimes eating a little. We see a little blood dripping from a nose. A male corpse is seen without clothes. A man removes his shirt, showing large but long-since-healed scars all over his chest and stomach.

Gore involving animals includes large laboratory specimens bottled in liquid and the chewing of raw fish. In an un-simulated scene, a woman has inserted her gloved arm into a cow's rectum (seen). As she withdraws it, globs of feces fall out of the rectum. A dog licks at a pool of human blood, but we only see the top of its head. In veterinary labs, we see dead dogs and partly dissected cows. A student begins to dissect a dead dog, but we only see a thin line of red flesh.

During a sex scene, a woman tries to bite a man's arm. She instead bites her own arm and sucks on it, which begins to bleed.

Some extremely graphic gory images and detail of injury including a finger being bitten off and eaten. Lots of graphic cannibalism.

During a party scene, a woman licks a man's eye, very graphic but depicted as part of the background.
