Burying the hatchet

In this twisted after-school special, Maddy is an awkward teenager with self-esteem/confidence issues.

When she decides to dress more provocatively to attract the attention of the opposite sex, she gets more than she bargained for.

A darkly comic coming-of-age tale that plays like Little Red Riding Hood meets Carrie (by way of Blood Simple), this is an effective short film from Chloe Okuno, whose feature debut, Watcher releases soon.
