The camp scenes in Grotesque 2 were shot at Camp Wohelo on Pigeon Lake in Alberta, Canada. The cast and crew rented the camp for a week and stayed there while shooting.
Most of the cast from Grotesque (2022) returned for the sequel. The production team enjoyed working with everyone so much that they cast people from the first movie in different roles for Grotesque 2.
The church that was used in the movie was kind enough to let the Grotesque 2 team shoot there, but they drew the line at crucifying someone inside the church. That's why that scene was shot outside.
When the Spretzer family is first seen in the TV commercial, the homeless man sitting on the ground as Veronica places money in his cup is Dumpster Donny from the first Grotesque movie. He's played by Director of Photography James Hastings.
The opening scene at the roller rink was shot at Rollers Roller Rink in Edmonton, which is Canada's largest roller skating rink.
