Sita is a 25 year old Berliner. Her grandfather is about to turn 95. Sita asks one important question that is going to change her life "What did you do in the war, grand-daddy?". Sita goes on a journey to Warsaw, Vienna and Romania to discover her family's past during war. Some people might say that this move looks very cheap, like the budget spend on was only 1000 euros. But for me it's a very big advantage, cause it makes the whole story looks very realistic, it seems like someone is following Sita with a camera. I decided to see that movie cause i read the plot of it in newspaper, the movie was played during a festival. When i read the plot i thought to myself - i know movies about victims, death camps, life after war, but i've never seen any movie about the other side - the life of children of the occupants. I think that everyone should see the movie and realize that those people, young German generations are not guilty. Unfortunately, the war story keeps the German people like a shadow. It's still alive. On me - as a granddaughter of a victim of war - it made such a big impression and it makes my life so much easier knowing that my grandparents were innocent and they were fighting to protect their own country. When Sita discovers her grandfather's story, suddenly he stops being a beloved granddaddy, he becomes a monster. I can't imagine how sad that feeling is. The actors in this movie are very convincing and the play their characters very well. I also have to mention the soundtrack - it fits the story and highlights the atmosphere in the movie. To sum up, and amazing and shocking story - will stay in mind for a long time. I recommend this movie to everyone.
