This doc is about studying bats as virus reservoirs and carriers. It really doesn't go to deep so I'd call it a casual introduction as to the importance of bats, other animals, and, ultimately, humans. You will learn one reason bats carry lots of viruses while suffering from almost none of these. It shows a couple of teams delving deep into bat habitats that have sizable virus potential. The one thing that isn't hovers which seems quite important is how, where, and when the virus itself emerged prior to infecting the perfect reservoir of the bats. Since we are talking about Covid-19 that's a huge unanswered question. At the time this doc was made it was considered mad hypocrisy to think this particular Corona Virus might have actually emerged, accidentally or not, from a lab. In the interim, the "stonewalling" of those who believe the Wuhan lab could be the source of a type of SAR-like gained function derivative has broken down. It is more apparent that Covid-19 seems to fit into a lab creation over any organic evolution. A better overall picture of hunting would have to include a hard look into how this could have been the origin of Covid-19 regardless of if bats became ia kind of perfect reservoir. In the end, the lacking of exploring this possible, though controversial, angle and never really telling us if any of these teams found any actual evidence of their test group bats actually incubating Covid-19, this doc is lacking in what I'd term crucial ways.
