“It takes a toll on your body,” Lovato told the outlet. “I’m not 15 anymore.” (The reporter noted that Lovato mentioned having back issues.)

Rowoon’s The Matchmakers Soars To All-Time High Viewership Ratings Ahead Of Finale Week!(Photo Credit –IMDb)
The popularity of K-dramas saw unprecedented growth this year, but do you know what else soared in 2023? It’s actor Rowoon’s fan following. While he already has an impressive resume with K-dramas like Extraordinary You (2019), She Would Never Know (2021), and Tomorrow (2022), the fame Destined With You brought him is unparalleled. Now, his popularity seems to have contributed to his ongoing drama, The Matchmakers, which is heading into its finale week with its all time-high viewership ratings.
Rowoon announced his exit in September from his boy group SF9 to focus on individual activities, including acting, and what followed was his rise as a true blue K-drama star. Notably, the singer continues to be the 9th member of SF9, extending his support to the other eight members throughout their musical journey.

Monday marked the dawning of a new era in Voice history — not just the Season 24 premiere but the first episode ever without Goat Blake Shelton on deck. In his red swivel chair next to returning coaches Niall Horan, John Legend and Gwen Stefani was Reba McEntire, who seemed to fit in so well, you could’ve convinced me that she’d been on the panel for years. And I know I’ll get flak for giving out so many A’s and B’s, but the first of the Blind Auditions were pretty terrific. Read on and see if you...

If Demi Lovato was feeling herself when she stepped into the studio to record “Confident” for her fifth studio album of the same name in 2015, she’s feeling unstoppable on its newly-released, amped-up rock version. “Confident (Rock Version),” set to appear on their forthcoming album Revamped, out Sept. 15, takes the swaggering pride of the original and coats it in an edgier sound.

When Demi Lovato went on tour for their punk-rock-leaning album Holy Fvck last year, they wanted to find a way to seamlessly incorporate their pop hits into the setlist in a way that felt natural: “How am I going to play ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ next to ‘Skin of My Teeth’?” they remember thinking.
With their band, Lovato reimagined their pop chart-toppers as rock bangers, featuring new arrangements that worked with the live show they had prepared. And it worked. “The fans loved it,” they tell Rolling Stone. “When I got home from tour,...

Adam Scott never wanted to be anything other than an actor. He has been devoted to his craft ever since his days of appearing in plays in high school. His first notable professional gig was playing a strung-out deliverer of exposition in the not-at-all-remembered 1994 MTV series "Dead at 21," one of the most 1990s things ever. A few years later, Scott appeared in the final theatrically released "Hellraiser" movie, "Hellraiser: Bloodline" in which he played a sweaty, immortal French aristocrat. That same year, he played the unnamed helmsman of the U.S.S. Defiant in "Star Trek: First Contact." Incidentally, his "Star Trek" character has recently shown up in the video game "Star Trek: Timelines" where he was named Helsman Wyatt, presumably after Ben Wyatt, Scott's character on "Parks and Recreation."
Scott has since had a varied, textured career that included both high-profile jobs and low-profile nothings (this author may...

The news that Nikki Finke — the cantankerous trade blogger who traumatized and entertained Hollywood in equal measure with her vendetta-based brand of entertainment journalism — died Sunday at 68 dislodged a tidal wave of not-so-fond memories in this town.
Her reign of terror kicked into high gear when she moved her column Deadline Hollywood from L.A. Weekly over to Penske Media Corporation, owner of The Hollywood Reporter, in 2009; she walked away in 2013 after clashing with the ownership. During that time, Finke had grown so legendary that she even served as inspiration for an HBO dramedy.
Tilda was co-conceived by Dreamgirls director Bill Condon and Tell Me You Love Me creator Cynthia Mort. It featured a starry cast, headlined by Diane Keaton as Tilda Watski, a character based on Finke’s persona; and Elliot Page, who played a studio assistant who gets ensnared in her web.

Nikki Finke, the polarizing entertainment journalist who founded the website Deadline and wielded immense power by focusing an acerbic and unrelenting lens on Hollywood, has died. She was 68.
Finke died Sunday in Boca Raton, Florida, following a prolonged illness, a family spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.
At L.A. Weekly, Finke headed its Deadline Hollywood Daily column from 2002-09. In 2006, she launched Deadline Hollywood Daily, an around-the-clock online version, and became a key source of news surrounding the 2007 WGA strike.
That year, The New York Times‘ Brian Stelter wrote that Finke’s blog had “become a critical forum for Hollywood news and gossip, known for analyzing (in sometimes insulting terms) the behind-the-scenes maneuvering of moguls,” with her reporting on the strike ultimately solidifying “her position as a Hollywood power broker.”
Finke landed scoops with a cut-throat style that both impressed and incensed industry members.

Singer-actress Demi Lovato has undergone yet another evolution for their eighth studio album, ‘Holy Fvck’, which was released on Friday. The Grammy-nominated artiste’s new record marks a stark shift in image and sound from their revelatory 2021 album “Dancing With the Devila The Art of Starting Over’, reports ‘Billboard’.
Led by the singles ‘Skin of My Teeth’, ‘Substance,’ and ’29,’ ‘Holy Fvck’ arrives approximately seven months after Demi first teased a ‘funeral’ for her pop music on Instagram.
While both ‘Skin’ and ‘Substance’ failed to crack the Billboard Hot 100, the songs made waves on the Hot Rock and Alternative Songs Chart where they peaked at No. 13 and No. 37, respectively.
Released as a promotional single just two days before the album’s release, ’29’ quickly resonated with fans across the world with its careful articulation of grooming in relationships.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 7, Episode 6, of “The Masked Singer,” “The Double Mask-Off — Round 2 Finals,” which aired April 13 on Fox.
The mystery of host Nick Cannon’s missing shirt wasn’t solved on Wednesday’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” but the show did send one more disguised celebrity to its final round. That meant that two more contestants were eliminated in a double exit on this week’s show: Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman as the Armadillo, and Jennifer Holliday as Miss Teddy.
Armadillo aka Chapman was voted out after singing the traditional hymn “Amazing Grace.” Previous songs he performed included “Secret Agent Man,” by Johnny Rivers and “I Fought the Law,” by the Bobby Fuller Four.
As for Holliday, as Miss Teddy, she sang “Mercy,” by Duffy. Before that, she performed “Tell It to My Heart,” by Taylor Dayne, and “Tell Me You Love Me,...

Who is Miss Teddy? The judges are on a mission to find out during this week’s episode of “The Masked Singer.” And in a clip from Wednesday’s episode, exclusive to TheWrap, Ken Jeong thinks that one of the clues about her identity might be a personal jab at himself.

He’s met with a bit of skepticism from the other judges, but insists that one of the clues — a photo of Eddie Murphy — tipped him off.

Frank Zappa’s 200 Motels is an education in musical composition, soundtrack recordings, and rock history. In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Zappa Records, UMe, and MGM assembled a definitive Super Deluxe six-disc box set of the soundtrack, which drops on Nov. 19. The 200 Motels 50th Anniversary Edition was remastered by Bernie Grundman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, and includes unreleased and rare material from the Zappa music vault.
The sound quality is excellent, the separation gives the multitude of instruments and voicings enough space to hear what is going on very clearly, though the music is still very dense. The players included Ian Underwood on keyboards and woodwinds, George Duke on keyboards and trombone, drummers Aynsley Dunbar and Jimmy Carl Black, with Ruth Underwood on an orchestra drum set. Zappa plays guitar and bass, because there was a change in personnel, between bassists Jeff Simmons and Martin Lickert, partway through recording and filming.

Since 2011, the Edinburgh Film Festival’s Talent Lab has nurtured a number of rising filmmakers through an assortment of masterclasses, workshops and individual mentoring sessions: Talents like Ben Sharrock (“Limbo”), Eva Riley (a recent winner BIFA winner for “Perfect 10”) and Rob Savage (“Host”) are alumni of the program. In 2019, however, the program yielded the Talent Lab Connects offshoot, in which a smaller selection of writers, directors and producers are given the chance to develop specific feature film or series projects with a range of industry mentors.
Now in its third year — and its second of the program taking place online — the program will be headed again by renowned U.K. script editor Kate Leys, whose recent credits include Simon Amstell’s “Benjamin,” Bart Layton’s “American Animals” and John Maclean’s “Slow West.”
