In Pierce County, Washington, the father of Josh Comstock gives a motorcycle to his son on his sixteen-birthday. He tests the bike in his gated community Vista Verde, but a man abducts him using a cattle pod to subdue the teenager. Their parents do not find him in the morning, but later they see his motorcycle parked in front of their house and a body of another teenager in Josh's bed. Frank travels from Seattle to help Sheriff Paul Gerlach in the investigation, and he calls the pathologist Cheryl Andrews to help him. They identify the dead teenager, who had drunk blood, and the Sheriff tells them that he had not warned the community since it was a request from the parents of the dead teenager. They have a tense meeting with the residents of Vista Verde and when Comstock's family returns home, they find the number 331 written on blood on Josh's bed. His father, Tom, tells Frank that the number is the room number where he had an affair with a supplier. Then the teenager Charlie is abducted from his bedroom. After Tom's confession, Josh is released in shock with blood in his stomach. Frank concludes that the deranged man is cleansing the sins of the teenagers' fathers.
"Weeds" is an interesting episode of "Millennium", with a lunatic that kidnaps sons of sinners and forcing them to drink his blood for cleansing their sins. It shows how people lock themselves seeking security at home, but it may happen that the criminal lives among them. It shows also the danger of a group of vigilantes that do not investigate their target properly. The film does not explain why the killer knows the "sins" of the teenagers' fathers. My vote is seven.
