The original book from author Anna-Leena Härkönen is very popular in Finnish secondary and high schools, but lead actress Outi Alanen skipped reading it during her own high school days.

Alternate versions
Originally shot as a five part TV series, but later re-edited to three 50-minute episodes by the request of the director Jussi Niilekselä. Nothing was cut.

Easily worthwhile

This series is a great tribute to Anna- Leena Härkönen the writer of the book Häräntappoase. Santeri Kinnunen in his breakthrough role is very good as is Outi Alanen. The series stays true to the book and is at least as funny and touching as the book. Timeless classic in Finnish literature and now also in Finnish TV-history.
