Henrique Linhares de Lima, lieutenant-colonel, had been director of the army department for food provisions, and was the Ministry of Agriculture during two short-lived governments of 1929 to 1932. However, Linhares de Lima started the Wheat Campaign in 1929 and, as part of that wheat production effort, he paid a visit (in civilian clothes) to the field being cleared, and was filmed in a group posing for a still photo, talking, and having a glass of fresh wine with the Portuguese owners of the Production company, and local field agriculture supervisors.
