- Larry has a good job as a bakery clerk, although the foreman makes life rather miserable for him and the others, Larry, in turn, tosses many obstacles in the path of business progress while trying to do the right thing. He just can't keep from falling down trap doors, and getting things tangled up generally. The owner of the bakery brings his daughter and her fiance to see where he laid the foundation for all the dough she now spends. He tells her how loyal are his employees. As soon as he enters, these same employees demonstrate their loyalty with a vengeance that is a shame. After a series of accidents which only include his plunging into a vat of dough, the owner discharges all the help. Meanwhile Larry is showing the newest cakes to the daughter. The discharged employees start to make trouble for the owner and he finally gains the upper hand for a moment with Larry's help. After a spectacular chase in all directions over buildings and fences, Larry makes a high dive off the top of a sixty foot building onto the shoulders of the ring leader, who is holding the owner and his daughter st bay, and saves the owner. He wins the girl, and the gratitude of the boss.—Copyright Description from Library of Congress
