Born in Decatur, Alabama and christened Dean Carroll Jones, the actor's father worked for a railroad company and the family moved often, living in Washington, DC, Nashville, and New Orleans. "It was in New Orleans I really learned how to sing", Jones told the Pittsburgh Press in 1969. Dropping out of school at 15, he worked for a short time singing in a club in that city, but when the club closed, he returned to Decatur and got his degree but Jones had gotten the show business bug.
After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, Jones got a job acting in a melodrama at Knott's Berry Farm. He was spotted by veteran composer Vernon Duke, who was planning a musical. The musical project fell through, but Duke enabled Jones an audition with Arthur Freed, the famous producer of MGM feature film musicals such as "Singin' In the Rain". It did not go as planned. "He's an actor, not singer!", Freed exclaimed as related by Jones in a 1966 L.A. Times interview.
Still, the studio signed Jones, and in his first credited role, he found himself acting opposite James Cagney in the 1956 drama "These Wilder Years." The veteran actor helped him through their scene. "There I was, just out of the U.S. Navy without an acting lesson to my name," Jones told the Christianity Today. "In walks Cagney and says, 'Walk to your mark and remember your lines.' That's all I've been doing for 50 years."
Jones had mostly small roles of a far grittier nature than his later Disney fare. "I played drug addicts, pimps, hard-cased killers, ex-cons and angry young men," he told The Times in 1995. And he reveled in the movie life. In a 2007 interview with the Pantagraph newspaper in Bloomington, Illinois, he recalled being on the MGM Culver City studio back-lot, with "Liz Taylor yelling, 'Hey Dean-O, let's go down to Stage 22 and watch Bing and Frank sing!'" Jones would appear with Elvis Presley in 1957 in "Jailhouse Rock".
He made his debut on Broadway in 1960 opposite Jane Fonda in "There Was a Little Girl", which flopped. Jones went on to the more successful "Under the Yum-Yum Tree" later that same year. He appeared in the title role of the Disney television series "Ensign O'Toole", a military comedy, which debuted in 1962 on NBC on Sunday evenings. The show was followed by Disney's anthology television show, so Disney caught the end of some episodes of Jones series, and liked what he saw.
Beginning in 1965 with "That Darn Cat!", Jones became closely identified with Disney family fare. In addition to the "Love Bug" and "The Ugly Dachshund", he was the leading man in "Monkeys, Go Home", "The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit", "The Million Dollar Duck", "The Shaggy D.A.", "Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo", and other Disney feature films.
But in the late 1960s and early 1970s, he was leading an off-screen life contrary to his wholesome image. He had numerous affairs and was drinking heavily. "I had thought if I became a star I'd be happy," he said in a 1976 L.A. Times interview. "I had thought if I had a fairly large amount of money I'd be happy. I thought if I had a house on a hill I'd be happy. I thought if I had a Ferrari I'd be happy. One goal after another was accomplished. And with no fulfillment." Jones was able to keep his torment largely separated from his work life. Even the head of the studio was fooled. "I remember having lunch with Walt one day, and he told me, 'Dean, you're a perfect fit for these pictures. You're such a good family man!'" Jones told the Pantagraph. "I wasn't a good family man", Jones acknowledged. "I was showing up at home smelling of perfume that wasn't my wife's".
Jones' first marriage to Mae Inez Entwisle ended in divorce in 1970. They had two daughters. He was married to actress Lory Patrick from 1973 until his death in 2015. Lory had a son, Michael Patrick, whom Jones adopted.- Actor

Steven C. Miller was born in Decatur, Ga. His love for film began early when his father bought him a VHS video camera. Miller started off small with multiple music videos and short films. In 2005 Miller attended and graduated Full Sail University.
In 2005, immediately after graduating film school at Full Sail University, Steven moved from Florida to Hollywood where he and two close friends raised the money to fund his feature film debut. "Automaton Transfusion." The no-budget cult phenomenon (which Miller also wrote and edited) was shot in 9 days and had a budget of under 30k.
In October 2007, "Automaton Transfusion" premiered at the "ScreamFest" horror festival at the Mann's Chinese Theater. It was purchased and distributed by Dimension films.
Over the next several years, Steven was attached to several studio films including MGM's remake of "Motel Hell," Paramount Vantage's "Ink" and "Area 52" that never materialized into actual films. He learned the meaning of "development hell."
In 2011, Steven decided to return to his roots, work outside of the studio system and shot two independent low budget features: "Under The Bed" and "The Aggression Scale."
The Amblin-esque "Under The Bed" premiered at the 2012 Fantasia Film Festival and played film festivals around the globe. "The Aggression Scale" premiered to rave reviews at the 2012 South By Southwest Film Festival and was described as "Home Alone" meets "Straw Dogs" and was purchased by Anchor Bay.
In April of 2012 Miller began shooting the remake of "Silent Night, Deadly Night" starring Malcolm McDowell and Jaime King. Anchor Bay is set to distribute in December 2012.

The son of a rancher-turned-politician, Guinn Williams was given the nickname "Big Boy" (and he was, too - 6' 2" of mostly solid muscle from years of working on ranches and playing semi-pro and pro baseball) by Will Rogers, with whom he made one of his first films, in 1919. Although his father wanted him to attend West Point (he had been an officer in the Army during World War I), Williams had always wanted to act and made his way to Hollywood in 1919. His experience as a cowboy and rodeo rider got him work as a stuntman, and he gradually worked his way up to acting. He became friends with Rogers and together they made around 15 films. Additionally,in a film that has recently received critical acclaim, he appeared alongside Charles Farrell and Janet Gaynor in the silent film Lucky Star (1929), playing a brute vying for the affections of Janet Gaynor in competition with a returning war veteran, played by Charles Farrell. He then easily made the transition from silents to talkies. Although he also starred in a series of low-budget westerns in the early and mid-1930s, he really came into his own as a supporting player in the late 1930s and early 1940s, especially at Warner Bros., where he appeared in such resoundingly successful westerns as Dodge City (1939) and Santa Fe Trail (1940) with his friends Errol Flynn and Alan Hale. Williams specialized in the somewhat dim and quick-tempered but basically decent sidekick, a role he would play for the next 20 years or so. He also made sound films other than westerns, and was in, for example, A Star Is Born (1937). Late in his career, he won the hearts of TV viewers in a regular role as Pete, the comedic roadie in Circus Boy (1956). In the early 1960s Williams' health began to deteriorate, which was noticeable in his last film, The Comancheros (1961), in which he had a small part and, sadly, did not look well at all. He died of uremic poisoning shortly afterwards.- Cynthia is a woman of many talents with titles such as supermodel, entrepreneur, mother, actress, TV personality, and many more under her belt. Best known for her on screen personality in the successful Bravo series, "Real Housewives of Atlanta." After a record breaking ninth season, Season 10 premiered on November 5th, featuring Cynthia's 50th birthday celebration. The new season focuses on Cynthia navigating life as a single mother, pursuing new business ventures and ultimately living her best life as "50 Cynt."
Cynthia started her long running career in this business by moving to New York to pursue a career as a fashion model. She was quickly signed on to a five year contract with Wihelmina Models, which led her to a very successful first book as the cover of Essence Magazine. Not only was Cynthia's first cover with Essence one of the highest-selling covers in the magazine's history, it was also a personal favorite of then editor-in-chief Susan Taylor. Soon thereafter, Cynthia booked her second cover and thus set the mood for her successful career.
Her next move was to Paris and Milan, where she was seen strutting down the runways of Paris and Milan Fashion Week. After living abroad for almost a year, Cynthia returned to New York City and was in high demand landing campaigns for Maybelline, Oil of Olay and Macy's. Magazine editorials for Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Essence and Vanity Fair soon followed. One of Cynthia's biggest career moments was being chosen over Naomi Campbell for a co-starring role opposite Sandra Bernhadt in the film "Without You I'm Nothing."
Fast forward to 2018, Cynthia has built a THE BE BETTER foundation, dedicated to girl empowerment, and two accessory lines; Cargo by Cynthia Bailey, a beautiful line of purses, tote bags, and luggage, and Cynthia Bailey Eyewear, a bold collection of affordable yet fashionable eyewear, which were both launched because of Cynthia's love of accessorizing. In August, Cynthia landed herself on QVC to promote her brands, and continues to donate 10% of her proceeds to various charities. - Director

James Hunter began making movies at an extremely young age. At age 13 in 1990 he made a "Star Wars" movie using action figures with blue screen and special effects after renting out a local TV station. At age 14 he wrote "Robin Hood: Prince of Sherwood" and with the help of his father and friends, pulled together his first feature film, shot on 16mm. The film took three years to make and premiered in January 1994 at the local town theater. Tickets were sold at $5 and around 3,000 people saw the movie over 2 days. James self taught himself how to load and shoot with a 16mm film camera and also taught himself to edit on film. That same year, Hunter began his second feature film attempt at age 17, this time playing the lead role as well as directing. Also shot and edited on 16mm, "The River Bridge" was completed in 1996. This film starred Charles Napier, a veteran character actor of the 80s and 90s.
In 1997, Hunter married and moved to Los Angeles where he studied film, theater, and philosophy at Los Angeles City College. He worked at the Virgin Mega Store in Hollywood, as a waiter at Hamburger Hamlet, and as an extra to make ends.
Due to the Digital Revolution and Hollywood's reluctance to take such a young director seriously, Hunter put directing aside and got involved in acting at age 20 and in 2004 he became a member of the Screen Actors Guild. His teenage films remained on a shelf until 2008 when Hunter distributed the movies with the help of Ryan Sims, and the films were finally released through Indieflix and Amazon.com. In April of 2013, Hunter uploaded to films to YouTube.
In 1999, Hunter went into production on his 3rd film, "Vagabond Lover 1999". Production shut down after one investor pulled the plug. Twenty years later, Hunter began pre-production again and reentered the project, writing new scenes and new characters. In 2020, the Covid pandemic shut down the production a second time. Production is scheduled to begin again in 2023.
As of 2023, James has written several new projects including two horror films, a sequel to his original Robin Hood film, and a movie based on the true story of his late aunt, Mary Faye Hunter, who was murdered in 1967.- Actor

John Michael Stipe was born in Decatur, Georgia, on January 4th, 1960. Since his father was in the military, they moved around a lot. In 1980, while he was attending the University of Georgia (studying painting and photography), he met Mike Mills, Peter Buck and Bill Berry. They dropped out of school to form R.E.M., which, with over 40 million records sold to some estimates, rival Irish band U2 in being one of the most popular bands on the late 20th century. Their debut single in 1981, Radio Free Europe, generated enough buzz for R.E.M. to sign with a major label. With IRS Records, they released Murmur (1983), Reckoning (1984), Fables of the Reconstruction (1985), and Life's Rich Pageant (1986). Document (1987) brought them into the public view, with Out Of TIme (1991) sending them to the top of the charts. The movie video for the flagship song, Losing My Religion, was recently rated by MTV as being one of the top five greatest music videos. Automatic for the People (1992), was a successful followup to Out of Time. In 1994, the band released Monster. The guitar-inclined songs the album focused on showed that R.E.M. could be a grunge band, as well. New Adventures in Hi-Fi, recorded mostly during sound-checks during the Monster tour, was released in 1996 to only modest success. It was followed by the equally so-so Up in 1998. Michael Stipe began to focus more on Hollywood in the 1990s. In the early 1990s, he and Oliver Stone tried for over two years to get a movie financed, but never succeeded. His Single Cell film company started achieving success in 1999, producing the Oscar-nominated Being John Malkovich (1999), among other films.- Actor

Best known for the inspirational sports dramas Hoosiers (1986) and Rudy (1993), David Anspaugh has enjoyed a long career as a director and producer of film and television. Born in Decatur, Indiana in 1946 to Lawrence Anspaugh, a portrait photographer, and his wife, Marie, he was a member of his high school's football, basketball, and track teams. As a student majoring in secondary education at Indiana University, Anspaugh shot his own short movies and filmed concerts, football games, and Vietnam War protests using a 16mm camera. After graduation he moved to Aspen, Colorado, where he worked as a substitute teacher, waiter, and ski instructor before relocating to Los Angeles to attend film school at the University of Southern California. At the time he couldn't imagine ever working in Hollywood, although that would change in just a few years.
Anspaugh started his career as a producer and director of acclaimed TV shows Hill Street Blues (1981), St. Elsewhere (1982), and Miami Vice (1984). He made the transition to feature films when his best friend from IU, Angelo Pizzo, wrote "Hoosiers" and wanted Anspaugh to direct. The scene in "Hoosiers" in which the Hickory Huskers and their coach enter the enormous and empty Butler Fieldhouse was suggested by Anspaugh. Seven years later the two friends reteamed to make the college-football movie "Rudy." Anspaugh insisted on casting Sean Astin in the lead role, even though studio executives wanted someone tall and athletic. And it was Anspaugh's idea to hire NFL Films to shoot the movie's game footage. Anspaugh and Pizzo also collaborated on 1950s World Cup soccer film The Game of Their Lives (2005). Anspaugh has rounded out his career by directing motion pictures and TV movies on many topics other than sports.
In 2014 Anspaugh relocated from Santa Monica, California to Bloomington, Indiana, where he taught a class at IU, directed local theater productions, and served as an executive producer on films.- Actor

He has a very funny and energetic way of motivating. In 1990 he became an Acting Coach at "The Dallas TV & Film Workshop, now known as "The Dallas Young Actors Studio & Performance Center, under the direction of Linda Seto. It's a non-profit organization that trains kids and teens from the ages of 3 to 18 acting skills. In 1992 he became the Assistant Director. It was there in 1990, that he met Casting Director, Shirley Abrams, who cast him in the role as "Barney". And it was also there that he met Hollywood Agent, Mary Grady, who is now one his dearest and closest friends. David began playing the role of Barney in 1991, and has traveled around the world spreading love to millions of people of all ages. He was the original Barney on the hit TV Series, "Barney & Friends", from 1992 until 2001. In April 2001 he left the television show, which is taped in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing his acting career outside the costume. After moving to LA, the Barney Special Events Dept came calling offering him the opportunity to continue traveling around the US making Barney appearances, and training new Barney's in other countries. All the while, allowing him to continue an acting career in LA as himself.
On October 31, 1994 he lost one of his best friends to lung cancer, his Mom. She was only 58 years old.
In 1998 David answered his call to Ministry, and was on the track for Ordained Ministry in the United Methodist Church, until he realized that his calling was bigger than being a Pastor in a church. David's calling is to share his love for children all over the world.
In 2002 while guest-starring on the TV series, "That's So Raven", word got around the set that he was Barney. Later that day he was approached by a young lady asking him to meet with a producer named Claude Brooks, who was developing a new children's character named Hip Hop Harry, a rapping teddy bear. Thinking he was only meeting him to give him some great advice as to how to get Hip Hip Harry going, he was then offered the role as Hip Hop Harry to shot 2 pilots for a direct to DVD series. The two pilots were shot in August 2002, and thus the beginning of a new chapter in David Joyner's world of children's entertainment. Harry is a bear and the world's best youth counselor. He started his after-school program, Hip Hop Central, because he truly believes that kids need a positive place to learn, play and discover. Outside of being a youth counselor at Hip Hop Central he works as a rapper/singer/dancer for kids and families around the world. Hip Hop Harry lives and breathes Hip Hop in an old school sort of way but he's hip to the current trends. He loves to rap and dance along with the kids and he believes that a beat and a rhyme can solve any problem. Hip Hop Harry is 100% positive in all he does. He uses hip hop as a vehicle to spread positive and enlightening messages to both kids and adults.
In 2005 Hip Hop Harry began making live appearances, blowing people away with a live show that had never been seen before as a costume character. Besides himself he has 4 very talented break dancers who know how to rock an audience. The live show is fulled with fun, and entertainment, while educating both children and adults when it's funky beats and cool raps. The producers recently signed a deal with Discovery Kids for a TV series. Hip Hop Harry can be seen on TLC and Discovery Kids, weekday mornings. 120 million homes, 5 days a week, 3 times a day. WOW, that's a lot of hip hopping. The response of Hip Hop Harry has been overwhelming, with many people believing he's going to be bigger than Barney.
David is a man who truly has passion for the love of God, and he loves to share it with everyone he comes in contact with. He truly has a bright light shining from within. But besides being an Actor, an Entertainer, a Mannequin Man, a dancer, a Purple Dinosaur, a Drummer, a Preacher, a Motivational Speaker, and Hip Hop Rapping and Dancing Teddy Bear, he's a very humble, loving guy, who loves people.- Actress
