Erica Wiebe

Olympic Champion, Erica Wiebe was born and raised in Stittsville, Ontario, Canada, on June 13, 1989. She is the daughter of Paula Preston and Charles Wiebe. Erica started wrestling in Grade 9 and in 2007, she made her international debut as a junior at the Pan American Championships. In 2012, Erica graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and then later in 2016, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree. She resides in Calgary, Alberta, where she is training for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games.
