Courtney Chen is an actress of Chinese-American descent.
She is a high level martial artist. From a young age, Courtney was drawn to martial arts, beginning her training in taekwondo at just six years old. Her dedication and skill earned her a second-degree black belt, complemented by a black belt in karate. Courtney expanded her expertise to include boxing and jiujitsu, further honing her skills.
Courtney's on-screen presence has captivated audiences, most notably in music videos for chart-topping hits like "Flames" by David Guetta featuring Sia and "trndsttr" by Black Coast. However, her talents extend beyond acting. Courtney's work as a stunt coordinator has garnered significant recognition, including a Telly Award for her stunt coordination of the film, 'Shit is Crazy'. She also lent her expertise to an adrenaline-charged Bang Energy commercial starring Twitch sensation Kai Cenant.
Courtney's accomplishments in the stunt community are underscored by her two SAG Awards, earned for her stunt performances in Marvel's blockbuster films Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War.
Adding to her impressive resume, Courtney served as the lead stunt double for Vinessa Vidotto in Season 1 of 'FBI: International' (22 Episodes), which was filmed on location in Budapest, Hungary, under the leadership of renowned stunt coordinator Allan Poppleton.
In 2024, Courtney took on her first recurring role in the television series 'Fallen', created by acclaimed showrunner Matt Hastings (The Originals, Mortal Instruments, The Handmaid's Tale).
As her acting career continues to flourish, Courtney has her sights set on a future in Executive Producing and Directing, where she aims to bring her unique vision and experience to new projects.
