ILM Animation Supervisor David Crispino holds nearly 20 years of experience in animation and visual effects, spanning a range of creative mediums including photo real live-action, animated features, television, and commercials. He is currently overseeing animation on Lee Isaac Chung's upcoming feature Twisters.
Prior, Crispino served as an Animation Supervisor on two seasons of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. He was instrumental in creating some of the series' most iconic sequences, including a nine minute cg speeder bike chase in season two, for which he was nominated for a VES Award for Outstanding Virtual Cinematography.
Originally from northern Virginia, Crispino holds a BFA, magna cum laude, from James Madison University. He is also an honors graduate of Sheridan College, where he completed the Postgraduate Computer Animation program. He currently lives in Vancouver, British Columbia with his family.
