Sean Bolger is an American actor and producer, born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in the suburbs of Chicago by his loving parents Albert and Mary Nell Bolger. The oldest of three children, Sean graduated with a degree in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduating, Sean took his finance degree to the trading floor The Chicago Mercantile Exchange where he embarked on a career in the commodities and derivatives. It was during this time, living and working in the city, that Sean was exposed to Chicago's vibrant theatre scene and his love of acting began.
Initially a season ticket holder at Chicago's world-renowned Steppenwolf Theatre, Sean was soon invited to audition for the Redmoon Theatre Winter Pageant. It was during this production that his dreams were born. This dream led to over 30 stage productions in Chicago at theatres large and small including Steppenwolf, The Goodman and A Red Orchid as well as extensive training at The School at Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and The Second City. With this experience, as well as television credits on The Chicago Code and Chicago Fire, Sean headed to Los Angeles to continue his journey.
In LA, Sean has appeared in over 30 television and film projects including the critically acclaimed Twin Peaks: The Return, TNT's I Am The Night and Amazon's period biopic Seberg. During this time he has fortunate to work with directors such as David Lynch, Patty Jenkins and Eduardo Sanchez, along with actors Chris Pine, Alfred Molina, Kristen Stewart, among many others.
