JC Henning is an American actress born in Waltham, Massachusetts to U.S. Army Major Thomas Courtenay O'Connell and Washington D.C. debutante Barbara Jane Henning. Her maternal grandfather was Arhur Sears Henning, the Washington Correspondent for the Chicago Tribune who authored the famous news story "Dewey Defeats Truman." While her father was still in the Army, JC grew up in Massachusetts, Virginia, Washington, D.C.,and Germany. After her father retired, JC attended private school in St. Petersburg, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Public Relations. She lived in Madrid, Spain with her sister, Marbry Steward, and began her professional acting career in 1975 as "Elga" in the ABC-BBC co-production of "The Story of David" starring Keith Michell, Timothy Bottoms and Jane Seymour. Upon her return to the United States, JC starred as Bob Cummings' daughter in "My Daughter's Rated X" for the Country Dinner Playhouse theatre circuit. In 2017, she co-created and stars in the Web Series "Once Upon A Con."
