I enjoyed the message—living with an eye for gratitude refocuses the heart from all the things we feel we lack—but could not deal with the author’s writing style. Voskamp is poetic, but inconsistent. She wanders around the points she tries the make in her memoir, and the meandering gets difficult to trudge through.
