Una lectura muy dulce, me hubiera gustado saber un poco más de cada uno, pero estuvo bastante bien. Es lo primero que leo de Rainbow Rowell y es un muy buen comienzo.
Angels in the snow: 4 ⭐ Shay, un chico mexicano, va a pasar unas navidades diferentes (tristes, solitarias, y aburridas) o eso es lo que cree. Debido a un desperfecto en su departamento, conoce a Haley, que poco a poco se abre camino en su vida y sus silencios. Matt logra narrar una historia más cruda y creíble de lo que muchos autores podrían en tan sólo unas páginas. Me ha sorprendido para bien y me ha dejado con ganas de buscar más libros del autor, a quien antes de este relato no conocía.

Twisted fue el tercer libro que disfruté de la autora, una que siempre sorprende y nunca llega a aburrirte o a ser predecible en su narración. Los personajes principales siempre tienen sus peculiaridades y sus propios problemas, son complejos, pero ella encuentra la manera de simplificarlos y de meter al lector en su cabeza. Este libro fue una lectura rápida que me mantuvo enganchada descubriendo el pasado de Tyler y haciendo conjeturas. Me quedaron unos pequeños cabos sueltos y el personaje de Bethany fue muy estereotipado, pero aún así fue un buen final y un muy buen libro. Después de terminarlo, proclamé, una vez más, mi amor hacia la autora y hacia sus libros. Leeré todo lo que escriba.

Una serie de ataques strigoi han alarmado a los dhampir y a los moroi y los han llevado a tomar ciertas medidas de seguridad y ciertos debates se han abierto también. Dimitri se acerca más a Rose, en el sentido en que no se muestra tan distante como en el libro anterior y me he sorprendido que me haya gustado conocerlo más. El ritmo es más ágil también, salvo en las últimas páginas pero el final me pareció impactante!!! Y, finalmente, conocemos a quien competirá por la atención de Rose (aunque me ha resultado molesto por ratos). También conocemos a la madre de Rose, lo cual terminará de complicar todo este escenario ;D

Si bien me entretuvo, no fue la lectura fresca y divertida que esperaba. De hecho, las situaciones fueron más complicadas, muchas veces innecesariamente por falta de comunicación y sentí que terminabas dando vueltas sobre lo mismo hasta que la protagonista se decidía a hacer lo que ya sabía que debía hacer desde hace varias páginas atrás. Quizás me molestó tanto esto porque ya estoy un poco grande para leer esta saga (se que es la favorita de varios pero la leyeron de chicos o adolescentes :s) Algo que me gustó mucho fueron las cartas que se enviaban entre ellas, eran divertidas y se reflejaba la personalidad de cada una. Además, al principio de cada capítulo hay una frase o dicho popular, me ha gustado ese detalle. También me han gustado como se resolvieron algunas cuestiones, si bien te deja con la intriga por saber qué pasará después también le da un cierre justo a lo que pasó aquel verano.
