“UNDIVIDED

I am for
One world undivided.
One world without fear and corruption.
One world ruled by Truth and Justice.

I am for
One peaceful world for all,
Where hate has been overcome by love,
And everyone is guided only
By their conscience.”
Suzy Kassem, Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem

“YOU ARE JUST

You are not just for the right or left,
but for what is right over the wrong.
You are not just rich or poor,
but always wealthy in the mind and heart.
You are not perfect, but flawed.
You are flawed, but you are just.
You may just be conscious human,
but you are also a magnificent
reflection of God.”

“Sonnet of The Benevolent Crook

Politics doesn’t mean affairs of the people,
It is but a telenovela of sectarian histrionics.
Democracy doesn't mean rule of the people,
It means a new dictatorship of the charismatic.
A paradigm born of selfishness and greed,
Is no place for an honest and innocent person.
But if politics is the path you choose for reform,
Leave theories outside before entering the dungeon.
When you are compelled to be crooked,
Make sure it is not for any benefit personal.
Be the Godfather of crookedness if needed,
And manipulate the system to lift the people.
All abuse power of politics to climb the social ladder.
Be the benevolent crook and use it as social leveler.”

“Two Politics (The Sonnet)

There is not one but two politics in the world,
One involves issues of society, another is partisanism.
Affairs of society is how politics is defined in books,
But in real life politics is all about partisan nimrodism.
Even the politicians are aware of this simple fact,
So they boast about placing people before politics.
But they never really have any intention of doing that,
So they continue with their usual partisan histrionics.
Real politics is supposed to be all about the people,
Yet today politics is all about politicians, not people.
Then they throw around some words for good measure,
Like socialist, capitalist and so on, at the sheeple.
Enough with this primitive left and right nonsense!
For once be whole and act with civilized sentience.”

“Honor He Wrote Sonnet 56

It's the citizens’ duty to make a nation nonpartisan,
Government is meant to serve as powerless figurehead.
All my hopes lie in the hands of accountable citizens,
A good politician acts a citizen, not political dunderhead.
So no more procrastination with the curation of society,
No more playing hooky in the school of life and sanity.
Be the politician that you seek in the sewers of state,
Not by law but by an indefatigable accountability.
Democracy means rule of the people, not sleep of people,
Yet that's what it means to people 'n politicians alike.
But shhh, nobody is supposed to admit any of it in public,
For discretion is the better part of a society of sleeping mice.
Let sleeping slime sleep, if you are human, take charge now.
Dream with your eyes open and keep your democracy vow.”

“Honor He Wrote Sonnet 93

Citizen lover is citizen justice,
All others are citizens of malice.
Love begets justice, whereas,
Judgment produces more malice.
All think, justice is an independent force,
But, justice is simply a descendant of love.
Where there is love, justice prevails,
Otherwise, there's just talk of justice 'n love.
Pledge allegiance to no judgment by intellect,
But only to love and love alone, my friend.
Where there is a place for love,
There is place for everything else.
Once a person has realized love untaintable,
They've achieved everything celebratable.”

“Drunk, Insane & Uneducated (The Sonnet)

We live in a world where the sane,
Are more insane than the clinically insane.
Greed and apathy are worse of all ailments,
They make a society narrow and vain.
We live in a world where the educated,
Are more ignorant than the uneducated.
Arrogance and egotism are sacrilege of education,
They make a savage out of the most learned.
We live in a world where the sober,
Are more drunk than a sick alcoholic.
Coldness makes vegetable out of a human,
Then they cuss accountability as idealistic.
I'm drunk and insane, with no education whatsoever.
And these are the signs of a person sane, sober and seer.”

“What’s It All About (The Sonnet)

What is this world all about!
What is this society all about!
What is this life all about!
What is our existence all about!
What are the roads all about!
What are the skyscrapers all about!
What are the bridges all about!
What are our feet all about!
What is science all about!
What is faith all about!
What is technology all about!
What is politics all about!
'Tis all about people and their welfare.
All notions to the contrary cause only despair.”

“Civil Liberty (The Sonnet)

Policy is not the precursor to civil liberty,
Civic duty is the precursor to civil liberty.
If there is no civic duty, there is no civil liberty,
If there is no civic duty, civilians are but catastrophe.
Contrary to unwritten political law of abuse,
Civilians are not the doormats of democracy.
Civilians are the doors, civilians are the buildings,
Civilians are the whole of the social anatomy.
Problem is, it's more convenient to live life as doormat,
Than take responsibility and turn politicians obsolete.
The war-mongers know this uncivilized tenet of the apes,
Hence they can turn living beings into moronic nationalist.
So I repeat, civic duty is the alpha and omega of civil liberty.
Till we realize this, there is no peace, justice and equality.”

softly you muzzled the flame aside,
how do we sunburst, knot?”
