Bettie Shouldn't NOS4A2 be NOS4R2, phonetically speaking? Just asking.
:O)

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

They actually changed the UK edition title to NOS4R2.
UK and American pronunciation differs obviously :)

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads What the heck is "Game of Thrones" doing on this?

ETA: Original link has 79 books listed, this list is currently 126.

You want it cleaned, Sarah?

message 5: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Sure, Susanna, thanks! I didn't think that could be controlled. :)

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads Yeah, a GR Librarian can "clean" lists. (We're not supposed to go nuts with it, but on lists like this one it's pretty clear what belongs and what doesn't.)

message 11: by Peebee (last edited May 24, 2013 02:43PM) (new)

Peebee Pretty sure that "Saving CeCe Honeycutt" needs to be cleaned, considering it came out in 2010....

and it says there are 79 titles on The Millions list, so since there are 100 here, there are obviously more that don't belong here....

Guys, I know we're all looking forward to Neil Gaiman's book, but please don't add it if it's not on the official list.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads Might want to add a note to the subtitle (possibly bolded) about please not adding books to the list.

message 14: by Bethany (new)

Bethany Note added.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads Don't know how much it will help, but can't hurt.

message 16: by Bethany (new)

Bethany Eh. Some of it is people that just don't understand what's going on, & that's fine, I totally get it; and maybe it will help those people.

Some of it is obviously authors/rabid fans (I'm looking at you, M.W. Russell and Marcelle Bartolo-Abela) that added what looks like their entire backlist in an...effort to get people to read their books b/c they thing they were on the Millions list? I dunno. Those probably won't stop & will continue to need cleaning.

Have a great Tuesday!

message 17: by Bethany (new)

Bethany Looks good to me--I deleted Claire accidentally the first time because of the spelling difference from the Millions' list, but I'm the one that added it back on, so I suppose it evens out. Thanks for working on that!
