They acted like super-talented people full of very human passions and shortcomings. When they appeared in different legends these various archetypes were like threads woven into the tapestry of various eras and cultures. This idea fascinated me. I began a journey of recording and relating these stories. Now I weave my god-characters through all the times and spaces I chronicle and encountered.

There is so much story in this 35-page book! This is a page-turner and by the end I felt like I got to know the main character in a richer way than I would have ever anticipated from a short story. When I read the last sentence and closed the book it almost felt like I had just woken up from a dream. Ana's Dream of Flying was an adventure that I enjoyed as an introduction to this author's writing style and I am looking forward to continuing on to read her Children of Stone series. -Heather Skinner

The author packs a lot of story into a few pages. Take an unusual trip to other realms as a dream proves to be more than it seems. Ana is unique and so is this short story.
