Jade has increasingly little to say about herself as time goes on, other than the fact she is an author, but she’s plenty happy with this. Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse for it is really all she’s ever wanted.
Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile.
She lives in the Herefordshire countryside with a couple of hounds and a guy who’s able to cope with her inherent weirdness.
She has a red living room, decorated with far more zebra print than most people could bear, and fights a constant battle with her addiction to Coca-Cola.

Paige Emmerson is a college student juggling expenses and family issues. Upon hearing about an opportunity to earn money, she enlists with the hopes of being accepted. While paying debts is her primary motivation, she is also intrigued about the man who runs this dark operation and the power he holds to provide pain and pleasure.

“He was fierce. Terrifying. The most gorgeous thing I’d ever seen in my life, even though he was more than enough to give me nightmares.”

Brandon Grant is a mysterious and demanding man running an underground operation on the dark web. Offering high payouts to women who willingly surrender in every way for sixty days, Brandon’s predatory and sadistic ways manipulate every single penny wagered for sin and deviance.

“We offered fresh, innocent, corruptible. We offered wide eyes and genuine shock. Trembling fingers and shallow breaths.”

Told in dual POV, Paige emerges as an eighteen year old who believes her decision is grounded in the right reasoning. While most would be deterred by Brandon’s business, Paige is excited by the prospect of pain and becomes focused on the man that can deliver it. As Brandon’s background remains unknown, and from the short time he first encounters Paige, his life becomes unbalanced. Wanting more from Paige, he demands everything from her.

“I decide which dicks go in which hole, little girl. You’d better remember that.”

Told in such a way that is signature Jade West, boundaries are pushed which makes the decisions of these characters feel realistic and sets an angsty tone of what’s to come. There are times when I wanted to shout at these characters but more so, I wanted to see how far they would go. With Brandon being dominant in all ways, he becomes forbidden and his allure increases.

Sell My Soul is full of temptation in a dirty, dark and dangerous world. I look forward to reading how this story continues to unfold.

Messed Up!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚🖤
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 😭😖😔🤐

The heroine: Paige - a nineteen year old student struggling to pay her bills and get through college with her degree. She has an older sister named Phoebe whose boyfriend opened up massive debts in her name to finance his crack habit, many of which were to loan sharks that wouldn’t like not being paid.

The Hero: Brandon - He and his brother had been in business together with some other guys for years. It was an under the radar operation run through the dark web where he sold women for sixty days. The clients didn’t like the kind of women that would usually go for something like this. Brandon’s service offered the kind of girls that wouldn’t, the innocent, shy type.

The Story: Paige had been hearing about a club that sells girls for 60 days of submission, no safe words, no backing out. The girls are used like rag dolls by one or more men and don’t get a say in what is done to them, but sign up because the payout is big. There is also the assurance that at the end of the sixty days they will be delivered with the full payout and healthy with no lasting injury. Paige is desperate to help her sister and signs up.

This was an odd one. Brandon is a very shady character. Despite the whole business being consensual and the fact that the girls are getting paid for what they are doing. He is definitely looking for girls that have no inkling of what they are getting into. They can’t even comprehend the filthy and depraved things men with lots of money want for the prices they are bidding. So Brandon is definitely taking advantage of the women.

At the beginning we see Brandon with another one of the 60 day girls. He debases them on camera while his clients pay by the minute to watch and then bid on the things they want to do to the girl. Some of the bids he takes, some he declines and he does more and more to the girl on camera every day. When he first meets Paige, he forces her to beg to do a sexual act on three college guys. Though Paige does find that she likes it rough, she likes pain, and wants more. Though she have a clue know how f*cked up Brandon actually is.

The book was told in dual points of view in dual narration by James Grey and Lucille Walker. They are both British speaking narrators, which matched the book. Their voices matched the characters. Being from the United States, I am partial to the American accent, as the more formal British accent sounds a bit funny to me with all the dirty talk.

Genre: Erotica
Type: Book 1 of 3 from Sixty Days Trilogy
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Paige Emmerson didn’t have anyone else except her sister. When her sibling got herself in trouble, Paige vowed to help her anyway she could. A rumor of easy money let her to a decision that could change her life.

Brandon Grant could make her dream come true but not without the nightmares. He demanded total submission of body and soul. And when he wanted something, he would get it no matter the consequences.

My frustration was rattling through my fucking spine. Frustration at her fucking selflessness. Frustration at her fucking naivety.

Brandon was a commanding hero. I like how he took control in every aspect of his personal and professional life. I hope to get more of his background in the next book.

I wanted him. I wanted him to hurt me. I wanted him to push me past every limit I could possibly imagine and leave me a smiling wreck at the end with a crazy bank balance and a sister who’d carry on living.

For someone young, Paige took her responsibility seriously. Her loyalty and compassion were admirable qualities, but at the same time she needed to learn to think before taking actions.

The story had an interesting concept that I’m curious on how it will play out but I do wish the certain aspect of the story to go faster. True to the author’s style the sex scenes were unapologetically filthy much to my satisfaction.

"Sixty days don't come easy. They require all of you, without reservation. No pride, no barriers, no argument."

Sell My Soul is the first book of Sixty Days trilogy. I’m looking forward to the next book which I’m sure will get even more dirty and kinky.

This was just okay. The heroine needs money for her sister, so she decides to seek out the guy who pays women a good amount of money to submit to him for 60 days. There are rumors about what happens during those 60 days, but no one knows for sure. This is pretty short and I know it's the first book in the series, but not a whole lot actually happened and I didn't really feel connected to the hero or the heroine. I didn't get why the hero was so obsessed and attached to the heroine and I didn't believe that there could be any real relationship between them. I also didn't fully get the connection between the heroine and her sister and why she's literally sacrifice herself to help her sister. While the premise sounded interesting, the execution was just mediocre.

I love Jade West, I've been loving her for a long time.
She is my favorite Erotica author, along with Joey W. Hill, and I'll always support her.

This time, though, this book really messed me up. I can take the pain and the filth, if beyond that I can get a glimpse of something more. I actually cried, while reading "Bait", because despite the hardcore sex, I could feel the pain of her characters, could relate to them.

But this is flat-out sadistic and mean. This is like being forced to watch a snuff movie: fucking uncomfortable and unbearable to say the least.
I had to push myself to go on, and I only did it because of her, of how much I adored her other books.

But this is it. I've had enough of this kind of abuse, it doesn't matter if the girl acts like she wants it. I just found out that I have a limit and I wish it happened with a different author.

"Dark Pleasures. No limits.

"

"I saw your profile.
I am willing to be as dark and dirty as it takes, I promise.
Please try me.
Yours, Paige.
"

* * * * *

Rather than my own worded warning that I include regarding this story/book being dark, pushing comfort levels, and including non/dub con, etc., etc. etc., I'll just copy/paste the author's own words:
" As always, this is a Jade West novel. You have been warned. "

Consider yourself warned

Oh My Frickin' God!!!!! I am totally drained right now. That's right, total shutdown physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and any other ways a person can be drained. This story (first of a trilogy) is so amazingly dark, twisted, and outside the box that it's genius. Though it will have a limited fan base due to the dark taboo content, fans of dark/taboo stories are in for the ride of their lives, so make sure your tray tables are up, seats in the upright position, and seat belts securely fastened....

One does not read a Jade West book, one inhales it, which is exactly what I did. As this is a new release I am reluctant to say much about it so as to spoil the reading experience so forgive the vagueness.

Brandon. Oh Brandon. I hate you, yet I love you. This is a character I call a sadistic psychopath if ever anyone deserved that title, though in reality I guess he's more a Grade A asshole. Get the picture?

Paige is a struggling college student with too many obligations to bear, family, grades, college, job, peers, money, you name it. The kind of girl who just when she thinks she's above water and can see the silver lining, a tsunami is in the forecast. In this case the silver lining is an opportunity to earn all the money she needs for sixty days of her time.

Secondary characters. Oh no. Oh oh oh no. Not gonna go there because there are some good, some bad, and some just ugly. Naming names will giving potential readers a heads up and I'm just not gonna do that. You're on your own potential readers.

Issues I have with this story? Damn it - it ended in a mother of all cliffhangers (not really to that extent but in my world it did) with multiple open ended story lines. So not fair. So so so not fair. I need to know ........... the rest of the story. NOW! Just to equate the quality of the cliffhanger and give a better perspective of reality- this is like a three act play in which this story ends Act 1.

OMG peeps. If you are a fan of Jade West, or are a fan of dark taboo stories that do have potential triggers for dub/non con and BDSM without safe words, and if you love to read stories that skirt the moral compass of society, yup. This is a book to grab and make sure to set aside time in your life because once you start you can expect to be glued to your e-reader until you reach the ending.

Wow I m al over the place right now after that book. It was brilliant in a crazy messed up way. This author alway pushes my boundaries with her books but I always end up luvin them. When I read the blurb of this book I knew I had to read it. I m so glad I did it's crazy good. The story is intense and Brandon is even more intense. This guy make every alpha guy I 've read and put him to shame. He doesn't give a crap about anyone and I mean anyone. He gets of on pain sexual pain it doesn't matter how it given he just loves it. He will take 60 days of your life and give you the worst pain of your life but will get reward with a big sum of money after it, that's the deal. But once you have signed there no goin back. It's a bit like Fight Club you don't talk about the 60 days to anyone or else. It's pure madness but when people have no choices left and need the money they do stupid thing this is where Paige come in.

Paige is a quiet girl goes to college keeps her head down so none notices her to keep her life easy. But really her life is like that at all. She sister is dealing with a crappy boyfriend and she's doin drugs. Her sister is the only family Paige has and well do anything for her even take the most pain a person can take. She knows it not goin to easy but she needs to do it for her sister. She just didn't imagine the guy to be drop dead gorgeous and totally dangerous.

This book is so good the story is just brilliant. The ending has left me dying for more, the last few chapters were just crazy. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down the story had me hooked. I m dying to know more about Brandon. He is totally gorgeous but he is mad. The things he will do to a woman is just insane I need to know more about him. I 've been left with a million questions I need answered but now I have to wait I hate stupid cliffys so much. This author really knows how to push things in her books and I luv it. I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy dark read and like this author then you will enjoy this but beware of the cliffy.

Ms. West has done it again. Paige Emmerson is a college student who is in need of money she wants to help her drug addicted sister Phoebe. When she hears rumors about another college girls sister she jumps at the chance to help her sister. Paige is a secret masochistic she has the need to help people that she loves even if I think she is letting her sister use her. Paige wants to submit to a man she craves it. Brandon Grant is a hot sexy sadist man who runs an underground business doing dark nasty things to college girls for rich freaky men all over the world. This book was told from a dual POV. Brandon sees something in Paige that he really likes and although he has another girl that he is working on he can't stop thinking about her. When he agrees to take her on he offers her a lot of money but she has to wait. The girls are mean and catty Paige befriends a girl whose sister Rebecca who has been running her mouth about the things she did for money and making Brandon and his business partner mad. The scene between these two was hot and although Brandon thought that she would beg him to stop she ask but Paige wanted more. I wanted to slap Paige for being so stupid she put herself at risk for her crack head sister not thinking about what would happen to her. I love reading Ms. West books this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I can't wait to get my hands on book 2. Ms. West please don't keep us waiting too long.

This is the first installment of Paige and Brandon's story. Brandon is one of those bad guys that pull you in and keep you captivated even if his behavior was nothing close to sweet, good or whatever...
The ending was something I expected, as it's divided in three books a CLIFFHANGER was inevitable, I'm not a fan, mostly because I lose my interest after a while and I end up never finishing the trilogies....

4 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As always, this is a Jade West novel. You have been warned.

Let me preface this by saying I love me some Jade West. She is one of my favorite authors, so much so that I often use her books as slump-busters. That's how confident I am in her talent. I love everything about her- her stories have a dark, desperate tone to them yet somehow, she is able to weave a story about love with all the filth and depravity. This story was no different in that aspect- the characters were intriguing and the sex filthy. That being said, it was slower than what I'm used to with her. I understand that it was likely because it's a trilogy. I've only ever read Jade standalones, and I definitely prefer them. So, this book didn't stack up to her other ones, but it was still plenty amazing. I will undoubtedly finish the trilogy, but a part of me wishes the story moved a little faster.

Sixty days of utter submission. No safe words. No limits. No holds barred. Sixty days of your body being used like a ragdoll for any man stepping up for his turn. And then you were free to go, no further dues, thanks and goodbye. The opportunity paid well. Really, really well.

Paige is desperate. She needs money, and a lot of it, to pay the debt her drug-addled sister has amassed with her dealer. Through campus gossip, she finds out that someone is offering a lot of money to use women for 60 days. No limits, no holds barred- just to be used and then cast aside much richer. Since Paige knows one of the girls that went through this, and she's perfectly fine, Paige thinks that she can get through this and it will be the answer to all her sister's problems. It should be plenty of money to pay her debts and send her to rehab so they can live happily ever after, right? Because things are totally that simple when they involve anyone addicted to drugs. Paige's naiveté is staggering, but somehow, she also comes off as world-weary and jaded. It's not shocking that Brandon feels differently towards her- she's hard to totally figure out. Paige is an interesting character, and there's no doubt that deep down, she wants what Brandon can dish out. It's about more than the money, and even she realizes that.

Honesty. That’s what I valued in myself above all else. Honesty and the true desire to give my all to the road in front of me, whatever dark twists and turns it may take.

Brandon is an interesting anti-hero. I don't necessarily like him yet, but I am intrigued by him. I'm definitely cheering for him, because I realize it gets much worse than him in this seedy underworld. It's clear he does have some sort of a moral compass, but it's equally as clear that he wishes he didn't. I'm nervous for how Paige will suffer because of his unprecedented feelings towards her. I still trust him to keep her relatively safe, though. Or maybe it's that I trust the author to write that kind of story. Regardless, I'm anxious for the resolution after that cliffhanger!

She was perfect. A money machine waiting to happen. A new blank canvas for every filthy sin her body could take. And I’d be the one to make her take them. Every single fucking one. Pain. Punishment. Pleasure. I’d give them all.

TL;DR- The writing was bad, but the general story was so nuts that I couldn't look away.

For those who want a WAY too thought out analysis of smut, here ya go:

I'm incredibly torn on this one, and not for the reasons that many other reviewers have mentioned. The intense, sadistic characters didn't bother me. The heavy BDSM didn't bother me. Even the cliffhanger didn't bother me. The main thing that DID bother me was that my suspension of disbelief was near non-existent.

Before I really dig into my gripes, I do have to give credit where credit is due. This was compulsively readable. It was a bonkers story, through and through. I devoured this entire thing in one sitting. And, even though I thought the story was far-fetched, I just had to know what the author was going to do next. So I was entertained by this, but in a way I think wasn't intended.

So, gripes, here we go:

Once I took a second to step back and think about it, the plot made zero sense. Yes, I realize that I'm probably thinking way too hard about it. This is just a smutty BDSM story at its core, so I should've just turned my brain off and buckled in for the ride. BUT, there were so many things that didn't add up in the story that I had a really hard time buying into anything that was happening.

For instance, Brandon's dark web business was the talk of the damn town and no law enforcement even acknowledged it was happening. It would be one thing if just a couple people knew about it, but it's made extremely clear that the entire local college campus knows about this shady enterprise. Not only do they ALL know about it, they are ALL openly talking about it and gossiping like it's the latest celebrity scandal. So how is it possible that the cops didn't crack down on it?

Yeah, he's rich and connected or whatever, but at least show one scene of him handing out bribes or something. It's barely acknowledged at all. All we know is that he's powerful, and are supposed to believe that this weird sex service is operating with very few hiccups. It's a lot of tell and not show. If the author included even one measly scene of Brandon or his henchmen paying off whoever they have to payoff, it wouldn't have bugged me. But alas, we are to just assume that all of this is happening off page.

Also, the dynamic with the sister was odd. I get that Paige wants to protect her and whatnot from the gang she's pissed off, but the way she goes about it is haphazard at best. There was inconsistency in Paige's eagerness to help her sister. Paige jumps at the chance to sell herself for 60 days to this crazy sex service, okay fine, I'll bite. But later, there is a scene where the sister is being chased down by people that she owes tens of thousands of dollars to, and is essentially running for her life. Paige somehow manages to get them both safely to her in her dorm room, and the very next thing she does is go back to class like nothing happened. Excuse me, what? She decides it's a fabulous idea to leave her sister, who is on the run for her LIFE, alone and go on with her normal daily schedule as if there aren't very pressing matters to attend to. It makes NO sense. That doesn't seem like the same character that literally sold herself earlier in the book, so what gives?

I feel like there are other things that didn't add up either, but those were the big ones. It is also worth mentioning, this doesn't read like a romance. This was more about a desperate chick who gets tangled up with a dude that gets his jollies off on beating women. At least our main character coincidentally has a major kink for that. I'm not one to yuck someone's yum, so no judgment here. I get the hook ups, but nothing about their dynamic felt like a foundation for a relationship beyond that.

With all that being said, I might actually be curious enough to continue the series eventually. I know, especially given everything I just wrote, that's probably a shocker. I stand by the fact that the writing isn't great. However, the ridiculous level of drama and crazy antics in this book were immensely entertaining. I was chuckling the majority of my way through this read, so there's that to be thankful for.

Also, the cliffhanger made me curious as to what the possible hell could happen next. Call me a glutton for punishment, pun intended, but I am insanely curious to see how nuts the smut gets. Mr. Man was talking a big game, so now I'm kinda obligated to find out if he can back that up. The smut in this book was very BDSM heavy, but not in any way that I didn't expect. I'm waiting for something to really shock me. That might be a weird reason to continue with the story, but oh well. That's the truth of it.

West continues to write dark and disturbing stories that grip you from the start, but this isn't a romance. It may be the beginning of something that could become love, but it's more about two people's mutual obsessions.

The heroine is weaker than I'd have preferred, but she is desperate to save her sister and however misguided, she is willing to do anything to save her. I only hope she grows a backbone sometime in the next two books, because it was hard enough watching how easy she was to take advantage of.
The hero is not a nice guy. He gets off on the pain of others, but he tries not to push his subjects too far. However, he loses himself with the heroine and in turn breaks his own rules, putting them both at risk.

It ends on a decent cliffhanger that gives me the feeling the next book will be even more disturbing.

Jade has nailed another non-com/dub with this dark little delight. Although this is part a trilogy, so this ends with one hell of a cliffhanger...be warned.

Paige is a college student struggling with money and family issues. Her sister has managed to get herself into one hell of a mess, and Paige has vowed to herself and her sister that she's going to fix it (and her).

Brandon is a dark, mysterious thing. While we don't learn a whole lot about Brandon, we know that he's sexy as sin and loves to be rough on his girls. And by girls I mean, Brandon hires young ladies for 60 days to do all sorts of deplorable things (which is broadcast on the dark web to vile people) to them for a crap ton of money.

Wow this was so... boring. My face during the whole book was -_-.... (Thankfully its short and took about 3h to read) Nothing really happens till about 70% and then it's just a bunch of whipping. I almost felt like I was reading 50 shades again. It was that bad! And Paige, she's as sharp as a marble. Worst. Heroine. Ever.

Brandon (aka pervy guy) was the creepiest unsexiest, all around cringeworthy male lead. I really think that if he was described as a middle aged man with a beer belly and a receding hairline this book wouldn't be so popular. (But of course he's described as "beautiful" nothing else. Just "beautiful"... let your imagination run wild ~ Well mine sure did, and not in a good way.)Because really that's what he sounded like. An overweight nasty creeper who watches porn all day and drugs peoples drinks before locking them in a dark basement.

So yeah, definitely not an entretaining nor sexy read. Most of all because 70% was every character in the story TELLING Paige what was going to happen in her 60 days, but we never see any of it happening other than some painful and just unhot and boring belting that was supposed to be "oh so steamy" ( not knocking on people's kinks but who would seriously enjoy a grown arse man slamming a belt with all his strength on the hoo-haa? Pretty sure a guy wouldn't like a woman doing that to his golfset)

Anywho if that's not enough to deter your desire to read this 50 shades parallel, let me add another tidbit. Paige is in love with the guy, who she has only met once and on said meeting he sent her off to blow some guys for him and bring back their juicy-juice to make sure she did it. Oh yeah real swoon worthy guy right there huh?

Last but not least, in what universe or what time period is this even taking place in?! I refuse to believe its modern day because nowhere where the language English is spoken can you buy a house and a car for 250k and still have left over to live months without working and buying designer clothes and bags. (I say 250k but I assume is less since that's what was offered to Paige and suposedly thats more than what Rebecca got. The original offer being 10k until mr creepy-pants decided he would up the offer for her since he really wanted to break her) so color me unimpressed.

Two stars for the could have been interesting concept and writing style (even if they repeated everything in every chapter)

Okay, I’m in enough to go onto book 2,Although I can tell already I’m going to hav a hate/ hate relationship with the H. The writing is good but these weak heroines, I always just want them to rise up….I doubt it will happen in this series but I’m hooked enough to find out where this story goes due to JW’s writing skills.

Jade West has been through hell and back. Anyone who follows her knows what she's been through, how she's been holding on by the very thread and can't help but root for her. This book was raw. I felt emotions i hadn't before from this author.

Let me make this clear - she's amongst some of my very own short list of automatic one click, and i will never apologize for that. Her stories push boundaries and makes you question them. She writes stories that puts pen to paper what we all secretly wish, fantasize, want and need. She also puts it in a way that you crave it and can't get enough of her stories, barely taking the time to eat just to plow through the book.

Sell My Soul was that. It was beautiful in many ways. Disturbing in others. And you know what? It was perfect. This is her come back. This her way of marking her territory and of screaming out loud how life isn't fair and sometimes you have to do things to make sure you go on. This author is an inspiration to me. Her book made you really think on how far you'd go to help your family, to make their lives better even when they're the ones that created their own personal hell. Yet, there are some times that you'll never do, and that's give up on family.

This book was interesting because you never know how far someone will go to prove their worth until they are faced with either doing it or lose everything. I couldn't get enough of the storyline, of watching how someone broke, and came out stronger and more alive than any other time in their life and how the one who broke them, found the diamond in the rough to change everything - from their outlook in life to how they see their future.

I admit that I’m a fan of dark and twisted reads. This had all the elements, but at times the execution was lacking. I think it’s mostly because I was looking for the actual 60 days, but really this is all leading up to the 60 days. It is about Paige and her ‘choice’ to sign up for the 60 days and how Brandon is completing his time with another girl and dealing with sibling drama. While I did enjoy the story at times it left me wanting more of the dark interactions between Paige and Brandon. There was plenty of ‘you will be begging me to stop’ or ‘you don’t know what you are signing up for’ messages, but very little execution on the threat if you will. Maybe I was most disappointed since the blurb is foreshadowing the whole trilogy but we only get book 1. I hope books 2 and 3 are coming soon.

Hero 4 | Heroine 4 | Plot 3 | Writing Style 3 | Steam 3 | Romance 1 | Angst-Suspense 3 | Darkness 4 | Humor 1 | Secondary Characters 3 | Drama-Conflict 3 | Mystery 4 | Twists 4 | Action 4 | Pacing Steady |
Dual POV | MF | College Student | Dark | Twists and Turns | Part of a trilogy | Overall 3.5 Stars

My love affair with this author is over, after a few duds in a row. This book was all show and no tell - I can’t stand that in a book. Pity, as I loved this author’s earlier stuff.

Where to begin. There is a huge difference between BSDM and abuse, and it does not seem like the author managed to get that across in this book at all. These kind of stories masquerading as BDSM is just egregious. This is like Fifty Shades of Grey all over again and it's giving the kink community a bad name, sorry not sorry. I would hate for people to think this is what BDSM is supposed to be like, because it really really is not. And such a shame too since I happened to really like Sugar Daddies and Call Me Daddy by this author, but this book was just a huge disappointment.

However if you are looking for a book with a love interest who is a bonafide asshole who likes to stump out his lit cigarette on girls, this book might be for you.

OMG. This book.
It's so deliciously filthy I'm ALMOST ashamed to admit how much I loved it. ALMOST.
Jade West has a gift for getting incredibly raunchy whilst keeping you on the edge of your seat and emotionally invested.

First of all, if you have trouble reading about sexual violence then beware, this book is full of it. This book scared the crap out of me! I don’t know why but I like reading books about my greatest fears lol. I liked how the story was set up where a college girl hears talk about a way to make a ton of money. It’s only for 60 days, how bad can it be, right? I was wanting to knock her out for thinking she could actual save her sister from a lifestyle of drugs and abuse from boyfriend by paying off debts she owed. It’s ironic at the same time that she was also signing up for abuse, only under a controlled setting and an addiction to her own kind of pain. The hero, Brandon, (dare I call him a hero? Lol) is scary as crap. I would leave the country and change my name. He’s taken a liking to the heroine, and he doesn’t like anyone. He now stalks her through her phone, he has connections with all kinds of people who can do stuff like this. He also has her followed. While the 60 days haven’t started to the contract during this book, there was still a lot covered. It was nice to get to know the two main characters before the contract starts. It gives insight to both their psyches. I know a few reviews didn’t like that this ended on a cliffhanger but it was a heck of a cliffhanger! It was a perfect ending to the first book. These two are some really messed up people who like abuse. But they are both consenting. I don’t understand it and don’t want any part of it but it makes for a very suspenseful read.

I need book 2

Jade West is a Goddess. A master of all things I love. I swallowed this book whole, one clicking without bothering to read the blurb nor cover and then being forced to chuck my phone at the end. I didn't see it was a "part one"...I'm not ready for it to end ! I don't want to wait for part two! I need it now!
This book is so beautifully filthy and full of the pleasing pain I love in a West novel. Please Jade, don't make us wait too long for Paige and Brandon's part two!
