The shells for this mobile were collected on Sanibel Island, a heavenly spot for shell collectors. A multi-toned piece of driftwood from the Pacific Northwest shoreline anchors eight strands of beads. Shells have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly varnished. Beads are glass, bone and resin. From the top of the chain hanger to the lowest shell is 17 inches and the driftwood is 14 inches wide.
