The Senrigan (千里眼, literally meaning: Clairvoyance) is a dōjutsu ability that can project one's consciousness to any location to see and hear any present event, even taking place in a different dimension, as well as any past event up to the moment of their birth. They also remain limited by the context of what they can witness as they are unable to understand the information beyond their natural general knowledge. They also cannot perceive events within a separate spiritual or mental plane.
Known to be an ability of Shibai Ōtsutsuki, it was manifested by Ada after Amado transplanted DNA from Shibai's remains into her.
Trivia[]
- While senrigan (千里眼) literally means "clairvoyance", the kanji individually mean, "thousand ri eye". A thousand ri is roughly a thousand miles, and idiomatically refers to any vast distance. As such, it could also be taken to mean "farseeing eye" or, more literally "thousand-mile eye".
