DeviantArt or deviantART is a web-community for amateur and professional illustrators, a part of DeviantArt, Inc., founded in August 2000. It gained significant use and visibility in the 2010s as the pursuit of fan art increased. Currently, there are over 75 million registered users.
Numerous illustrators of J.R.R. Tolkien's world of Arda are found on DeviantArt. They include Marya Filatova (RittareArt), Ralph Damiani, Jan Pospisil (Merlkir), Maureval, Venlian, kimberly80, Maximilian Meinzold, Juan Barquet (jcbarquet), and Kip Rasmussen. Donato Giancola uses DeviantArt as well.
