Alexis Ren is an American model, internet celebrity and entrepreneur.[1] She is the Maxim's cover girl for the August 2017 issue[2] and has over 9 million followers on Instagram.[3]
Biography
Ren grew up in Santa Monica.[4] She discussed her eating disorder, saying she was in "a toxic state of mind".[5] Her mother died in 2014 due to breast cancer.[3] Commenting on how slut-shaming is still existing, Ren said "If a woman likes to post about her body, that doesn't make her a slut, desperate, or dumb."[6] She launched an activewear line called Ren Active.[7] In 2017, Ren size-shamed her then-partner Jay Alvarrez.[8] She appeared as the cover girl on Maxim for August 2017.[2]
