DescriptionNebraska 1990 gubernatorial general election.svg
English: Map of Nebraska, showing percent of vote won by Democratic Party candidate Ben Nelson in each county in the 1990 gubernatorial general election. Percentages were calculated from raw numbers in "Official Report of the Board of State Canvassers of the State of Nebraska: Primary Election May 15, 1990, General Election November 6, 1990", general election, p. 5, retrieved 2016-01-19.
Note that the map shows the percentage of vote for Nelson, not which party's candidate won each county. In Hall and Stanton Counties, Nelson won a narrow plurality of the vote, but, because of write-ins, failed to win a majority. Thus those two counties appear light-red on this map, although Nelson secured more votes there than Republican candidate Kay Orr.
