From 1 October to 31 December, Women in Red is running a virtual contest on Asian women. In November, this will coincide with Wikipedia Asian Month. Hi, I was wondering if someone could help with a new user, Justshepu. (I've tagged them here as well!) I saw that one of their most recent contributions was in another language, Bangla (per Google Translate). I also saw that they had some editing difficulties in the past per their talk page and I'm wondering if there's a language barrier here. They know enough English to create a draft for a cricketer, but I was thinking that it could be good to have someone fluent in Bangla reach out to them just in case. That way they can have someone help with translations of various policies. (Also in the hopes they can help add articles to Bengali Wikipedia, since it looks like that site doesn't have all of the articles the English WP does!)
