Template:Infobox musical artist 2 Spencer James Smith (b September 2, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nevada) is the drummer for the alternative rock¹ band Panic! at the Disco.

Spencer Smith and bandmate Ryan Ross were friends since they were five years old.^{[citation needed]} The two were the original co-founders of the band Panic! at the Disco. When they formed the band, Spencer recruited classmates Brendon Urie and Brent Wilson to complete the lineup. Before their first live show Panic! practiced in Spencer's grandmother's house. Spencer is said to help with most of the financial issues the band faces, as the members are, on average, twenty years old. Spencer completed his high school education via long distance study due to the sudden interest in the band. He and Ryan Ross attended Bishop Gorman High School, a catholic high school in Las Vegas, Nevada.
