Kasamh Se (Hindi: कसम से, Urdu: قسم سے, English: I promise) is an Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor. It has been shown since 2006 on Zee TV every Monday - Thursday depending on which country it broadcasts in. The story deals with the trials and tribulations of three sisters, Bani Walia, Pia Shukla and Rano Bali.

Plot

Kasamh Se is a story about three sisters - Bani, Pia and Rano. They are brought up in the small but beautiful town of Mount Abu. Bani is pretty and the eldest with many responsibilities. She is a good painter and cook. For Bani, love and peace are the most important factors in her life. Pia is the prettiest but spoiled! She is the middle sister and is a modern and stylish girl. For her, wealth is the most important factor in her life. Rano is the youngest. She is a bookworm and a good decorator. She is true copy of Bani - kind and understanding. For Rano, her career is the most important factor in her life.

Bani marries Mr. Jai Walia who is a rich & powerful businessman. Pia marries Pushkar Shukla who was supposed to marry Bani. Rano marries Sahil Bali who is Jai's nephew. Later, Sahil dies and Rano marries Ranveer Bali(Sahil's older brother). Bani and Jai have three kids: Ganga, Krishna and Atharva. Pia and Pusshkar have one son, Veer. But actually Veer is the son of Jai and Pia; not Pushkar. But Pushkar gives all the love and affection to Veer even though he is not his son. Rano and Sahil have one son- Varun. But Rano manages to give his father's love to him because Sahil is no more. Krishna and Atharva were kidnapped by someone who we now know is Meera but Attarva was killed Krishna is still alive.

Ranveer divorces Rano and marries Rashi. Rashi is Ranveer's ex-wife who was in a coma. Rashi and Ranveer have a daughter, Vidya. Vidya is the same age as Ganga. After Ganga was born, Jai marries Meera because at the time, Jai and Bani were having some personal problems. Later, Meera decides to adopt Ganga for her better future. That time Ganga had blood cancer. Meanwhile Jai finds that Ganga is his daughter. So, to save Ganga's life, Jai and Bani decide to have one more kid so that she will be safe.And Bani gives birth to twins! Jai names his kids Krishna and Atharva in memory of the previous twins.Krishna and Atharva were kidnapped by someone who we now know is Meera but Attarva was killed Krishna is still alive.. But Meera tries to kill Bani because she thinks that Jai loves Bani and is giving her more love and affection. Bani falls in the lake when Meera tries to kill Bani. Atharva also gets lost! Pia knows Meera's truth and decides to go abroad with Pushkar. Meanwhile, Bani is still alive in the hospital but no "Yaadash"! She cannot recognize herself. She got plastic surgery and so she has different face now!! A man named Partho takes her to Kolkata (Calcutta). Meanwhile, Ganga gets alright. Meera gives birth to a son, Vicky. He is Jai and Meera's son.

16 years pass away. Now Ganga and Vidya are about 22 yrs and Krishna is about 16 yrs old. Ganga is a good painter like Bani, Krishna is fancy girl like Pia; Vidya is a bookworm like Rano. When Pronita finds out that she is Bani, she swears to show Meera's true colours and gets the help from Jigyasa. When Meera is defeated, Jigyasa once again becomes the villain. Pia and Pushkar return to India and, with the help of them and Rano, Bani also defeats Jigyasa and everyone now knows that she is Bani.

Veer has come to India and Veer is exactly like Jai (the angry one). Pushkar and Pia do not want him to go to the Walia House because if he finds out the truth about him not being Pushkar and Pia's son, but Jai and Pia's son, things will go wrong. One day Veer drops his grandparents home. Veer's grandafather forgets his asthma pump in the car and that's why Veer returns to the grandparents' home. There he hears them talking and saying that Pushkar is not Veer's real father. Veer gets angry and breaks the pump and he bleeds from the hand.

Later, Veer's grandmother sees the pump on the floor and then the grandfather says that he forgot that pump in the car. They wonder that how can it be here? And then they understand that Veer has heard them talking. The grandmother calls up Walia mansion. Jigyasa picks up. The grandmother asks for Pushkar but Jigyasa says that he is not around but she will give the message to Pushkar. The grandmother says that Veer has heard them talking thar Veer isn't Pushkars real son. Jigyasa says that she doesn't need to worry. She will talk to Veer. When Veer camed home Jigyasa asks him what happened with him. He doesn't answer her. Jigyasa follows him up to his room and then ask the same question again. She says that she know who his real father is and then Veer gets angry and hold his hand over her neck as if to choke her. He says that he wants to hear the truth from his own parents' mouth and then Jigyasa runs out of the room. She calls up Veers grandmother and lies to her that Veer hasn't heard anything. Pushkar comes home and says to everyone that he has launched a new company. He invites everyone to a dinner but then Veer comes and says that there should be a press conference. Pia and Pushkar is surprised to hear Veer saying dad to Pushkar so lovingly.

At the press conference Pushkar tells about his new company. Pushkar makes Veer the CEO manager. Pushkar calls Veer up to the stage. He says that he can't even call Pushkar Shukla his dad at this conference. Everyone gets shocked and Jigyasa says that Veer has a good style, to expose the lie infront of the media. Then he says that i can't call him dad because he is also my boss. Everyone gets calmed but Jigyasa gets angry. Veer mixs a drug in Pia's drink. With the help of the drug he will get Pia to say the truth about his real dad. Veer talks to his mom and asks her if Pia has lied to him. Pia says no and Veer is wondering why the drug is not working. Then Jigyasa tells him that Pia's drink got mixed with other glasses. Veer says to Piya that he has a surprise for Pushkar but he wants to show it to Pia first. He takes her to the construction site of the hotel. Veer takes Piya to the roof and there he tells her that he knows that Pushkar is not hes real dad. Pia gets shocked. He says that he will jump down if she doesn't tell him who his real dad is. Pia shouts "Jai Walia is your real dad!!!" A pole falls on Pia's head and she faints. Veer rushs her to the hospital. He sits on a bench outside of the room. A nurse comes over to him and says that he has to sign some formalities. He forgets his phone on his bench.

In the Walia Mansion, all is tired after the party. Pushkar asks where Pia and Veer are, and Jigyasa says that Veer wanted to show something to Pia. Jigyasa wonders why they aren't here and she calls Veer's mobile. A nurse picks it up and says that someone forgot the phone on a bench in the hospital. Jigyasa reachs the hospital. She says to Veer that it is not Pia's fault that she has lied to you. She has only endured pain all her life. Right now she is unconscious and is lying right therr and some years back she was sitting on a wheelchair. But still she has endured all the pain and has never complained to anyone. Jigyasa says that Pia has done nothing wrong but it is Bani and Pushkar who should be hated. She tells Veer what happened between Pia and Jai for some years back but she makes Veer believe that it is Bani and Pushkar he has to fight against, and not his own mom.

At the Walia Mansion, Pushkar turns on the T.V. and he sees that Pia and Veer are in the hospital. All the family members rush to the hospital. At the hospital, Varun faints. They got to know that someone has mixed a drug in Varun's drink. Jai finds out the drug buyer's name. It was Jigyasa and Jai shouts at her. Veer has bought the drugs at Jigyasa's name and now Jai thinks that Jigyasa mixed the drug in Pia's drink so that she will tell the truth to Veer. Jigyasa tries to make Jai understand but Jai keeps shouting at her. Jai slaps her and throws her out of the house. Then Veer reaches there and says to Jigyasa that he has planned that she will be thrown out of the house so that no one will come to know that he knows that Jai is his real father.

Pia wakes up in the hospital and is about to say to Pushkar that Veer knows the truth. But suddenly Veer enters the room. Pia faints again and Veer says to Pushkar that it is not so serious. He says to Pushkar that he can go home and rest. Bani enters the room and says to Pushkar that Veer is right, he should go home now and rest. They both leave leave and Veer thinks that they are the two persons who is the reason to Pia's problems. He will take revenge for his mom but if Pia will get well she will never let Veer take revenge. So he gives Pia an injection so she can be unconscious a little more time. He says to her that her eyes will open when he has ruined Bani and Pushkar's lives.

It's the day of Jai and Bani's wedding anniversary and Jai makes food for Bani because she was in the hospital all the night and she might be hungry. When Jai reachs the hospital, a nurse ask for Jai's help. They take off Pia's bandage and Veer watches that from outside. He thinks that their family could be like this if Bani and Pushkar were not here. He enters the room and Jai says that he has to go now. Veer says that he could be here little longer but Jai says that he have to go because he want to give food to Bani. Veer says to Pia that she have to wait a little more, then she will live a perfect life with no problems. Today the family won't remember Jai and Bani's wedding anniversary, but instead, the worst day of their life.

Back at home, Bani overhears Veer talking to Pushkar of plans of evading the anniversary party to go meet Pia. Later, during a game of musical chairs, Veer slowly and steadily reveals to Pushkar that he knew the truth all along. Hearing this, Pushkar suffers a asthma attack and Veer says that Pushkar will have to go to the hospital. Bani thinks that Pushkar is only faking an asthma attack in order to go to the hospital to meet Pia. Bani reveals to the family about this and they all crowd at a place away from Pushkar. As a result, Veer bumps Pushkar off his chair and the shock combined with his asthma attack results in Pushkar's death. The next day, Jai finds that in Pushkar's will, Pushkar had a final request that after his death, no one would mourn or wear white clothes. Bani blames herself for Pushkar's death, because of course Bani has no backbone and always blames herself. Jigyasa suddenly appears at the scene in white clothes and praises Pushkar and pretends to mourn for him. Jai gets enraged. Later, it is discovered that Pushkar had planned to gift Bani a scrap book full of her memories with Jai and also a tape with Pushkar narrating everything. Everyone goes to Pushkar's funeral, Jiggy is also there, Veer goes to the hospital and brings Pia to the funeral. She sees Pushkar dead and is shocked and hearbroken and starts crying really loudly, while Veer goes and stands next to Jiggy. Then Bani comes in and says that Pushkar is dead because of her, she explains everything that happened at the party, she says to Pia please forgive but Pia slaps Bani, and Veer whispers to Jigyasa, "I told you I will separate these 3 sisters." But then Rano comes and explains that everyone was there but no one noticed Pushkar was dying so it isn't Bani's fault, so Pia hugs Bani. Jiggy then whispers to Veer that no matter what you do you can't separate these 3 sisters. When Veer has to burn Pushkar's body, he throws away the stick and says that he knows that Jai Walia is his dad, he also admits that he is the one who killed Pushkar. Pia slaps him and tells him to get lost otherwise she will kill herself. He goes away.

Veer is planning to kill Bani by making a chandelier(fancy hanging lamp) fall on her. The next day Bani goes to talk to Veer and tells him to go back home and talks to him about how what he is doing is wrong. In the meantime the chandelier is about to fall on Bani and just then Mr. Walia comes and pulls Bani out and saves her. Veer (thinking that Bani is dead) goes down to check if she died or not. He sees Bani isn't there and he comes down and Mr. Walia yells at him. Veer tells him that he will kill Bani but Mr. Walia says he wont let him and that he will stay with Bani all the time and never let her die. Later at the Walia house everyone finds out that Mr. Walia and Bani had gone to visit Veer. They lie about Bani's situation with the chandelier. Pia tells Bani that it is no use to help Veer understand because he won't. Rishi takes Ganga to Hyderabad to meet Pratush. On the way, some a man comes to Ganga and is fooling around with her, but then Rishi saves her. Then the man asks who is he to Ganga, and Rishi tells him, no one, but there is a name called humanity, and thts why he is helping her. Rishi's hand bleeds but Rishi doesnt allow Ganga to help her. But Ganga forcely takes the hand to bandage.

Mr. Walia finds out that that Meera escaped from jail. The police say that she is out to kill Bani again. He gets scared and doesn't tell anyone. On the night of New Years, the kids plan a mask party but Mr. Walia is scared that Meera might sneek inside the house with a mask and kill Bani. That is why he doesn't allow Bani to go out of the house, but Bani goes to the mall anyway. There, she sees her Baba. Veer is pretending to be nice and protecting Bani, but really he hates her and is trying to kill her. The police call Walia mansion and say that Meera has been caught, but Veer picks up the phone and understands everything. He doesn't give the police's message to Mr. Walia. Veer is pretend-helping Mr. Walia in finding out where Meera is. Mr. Walia thinks that a girl with a mask on is Meera. It is then that we find out that Veer and Jigyasa have a plan together. The girl with the mask turns out to be Shonali, the girl who was sending missed calls to Vicky! She came back to India for him, and on that night, Vicky and Varun have a competition to see who will get Shonali as a girlfriend; Vicky wins.Shonali is trying to kill Bani because Veer payed 200 million dollars to kill Bani on the day of the party.Ganga and Rishi have an accindent but they are fine.Ranveer stole money from Vicky's company but Aditiya blames himself for it and the police are saying that a guy named Amit did it everyone is confused about it now.
